I like having this as a way to plug in multiple devices but wish I could close my laptop without having to unplug it every time

Is hard to connect because you will need to guess where the ports are unless you don't use the black space cover and support part.

After somewhat getting over the fact I even need to add a bulky hyperdrive to my brand new computer....I can say, yes it works but I do not like it. I can not close my Macbook while it is attached which I actually do every day at my desk to allow computer to connect to my monitor. It is VERY HARD to plug things into and remove.

This is perfect. From connecting to disconnecting to connecting to disconnecting, One connecting device for all of my different connection types. This connection meets all of my computer needs. Thumbs up!!!

there's a middle pice that isn't attached. I lost it easily and now my dock doesn't sit right.

Bought this item along with my MacBook Pro 16” but the adapter would not read my external drives. I had to return it.

This little device was perfect to connect my mac laptop to a dell monitor simple. I needed this device and the Bestbuy employees recommended me it and I am thankful for it! God Bless

Excellent way to be able to use many different types of connections- wish it would let you shut the computer while attached better though.

Have only used the usbc port so far as I bought a new ipad and am still learning about the mac OS

It does its job but when I put it on the computer I see that it does not have a good grip when holding different equipment I feel that it is very fragile

Not very useful. A slot or two doesn't work at all. Did not bother using it. I keep it just in case but honestly getting this for my old memory cards is just a hassle.

Looks horrible on the new Mac pros thought it would sit flush but naw.

This is a great way to expand the ports available on the Macbook Pro. It's just a little pricey.

This is very helpful for all the other equipment that i need to work with my apple laptop which only has 2 thunderbolt ports

I use the SD Card reader slot a lot. I also prefer a mouse and use a wireless two button mouse instead of the Apple Magic blue tooth mouse with one button; so naturally I use one of the full size USB ports for the mouse.

An all around great hub! It matches the MacBook Pro space gray perfectly. The design is very thoughtful, allowing you to attach the hub to either side. Just be careful when inserting SD cards! They sit in the slot very shallowly (but firmly).

When plugged in properly it is secured and don’t have to worry about it. Falling off.

Does exactly as it's intended to. Unfortunately does not fit with cases/protective coverings.

HyperDrive DUO 7-Port USB-C Hub - USB-C Docking Station for Apple MacBook Pro and Air This is a must have if you have the newer MacBook Pro/Air M1 laptop. This is the only way you can connect card readers and other usb hubs to it.

I love the sleek style and powerful connection capabilities of this hub. The only drawback is that the black support piece (which can be removed but I think necessary for stability) prevents you from closing a MacBook all the way.
