The electrical current transferred was inconsistent and would not connect my external hard-drive to my computer.

It’s a decent accessory but just not what I was looking for as far as adaptability and number of ports.

Haven’t really used it that much yet. Still struggling using it with my MacBook Air and HDMI cable.

Great design with lots of useful connections but for some reason not every connection works every time.

With a lot of mobile warrior now working from home, this is a great and easy device When at our desks we have legacy USB devices (usb 3 and lower) like keyboards and mice, and external cameras This allows an easy and quick way to dock your MacBook, when sitting at your desk. The HDMI connector provides an easy way to add an external monitor, TV, or projector and still keep your built in screen running. The pass through usb-c port allows the power to be connect so you don’t lose any of your usb-c ports on the other side The Media card ports allow for the easy import of pictures and sharing of files. It is light weight so you won’t weigh down you bag. My only issue was I had to trim my 3rd party case to slow it to fit correctly

The HDMI port failed which was one of the main reason I got this. All these hubs and cables die so quickly. Pathetic And it doesnt really even fit - sticks out away from the MacBook with an incomplete connection - dangling in space.

The 16" MacBook Pro is slightly thicker than the 15". The extra grip magnetic holder doesn't seem to fit the new 16" which might disconnect the hub all of a sudden.. Removing the magnetic holder makes it slide well into the Thunderbolt ports and stays secure but has a lot of gap which looks odd.

Doesn't work well as a charger connection isn't super strong

Stopped working after 4 weeks. Waste of $100... Do not recommend !

You can’t shut your laptop u less you take the clip out. But then it’s really unstable. It charges slow and the usb connection is VERY slow. The memory card reader doesn’t work. And it disconnects my drive every time the computer goes to sleep so I have to u plug the while thing every time to re connect it. This thing sucks.

Bought this to connect my HD Webcam, Video Camera, etc for streaming on my Macbook Pro. It is so glitchy, unstable and inconsistent. It's too late to return it, but I would not recommend this. Looking at replacing mine with Apple's HDMI/ USB/ USB C adaptor.

Don't think its worth the price but you need to purchase if you need certain drives.

Although this piece of equipment might get the job done, its very flimsy. Any small amount of touch will disconnect the monitor from the macbook. Its so flimsy, it disconnects everytime i look at it.

Doesn’t seem to be working. Somethings not working! Can’t download photos fro camera or card.

Didn’t work, expensive for no reason. When I purchased it I thought I was getting a good deal until I another just like it for half the price. Topping on the cake is this thing didn’t even work

No longer working as of day 29 after purchase. Can't return as Best Buy only accepts returns for 14 days. As other reviews are positive, I assume I just received a lemon. Hopefully AmEx return protection works. But worked very well for 28 days.

After looking for one of these devices, I thought this would fit the bill. Maybe it would have, if it worked. Nothing worked. It came today and it is going back. I had to take my Mac Book Pro case off to get a solid connection.

It works but is cumbersome to use. Seems kind of frail.

Overall this is a solid build. However I had to return mine. No matter what type of HDMI cord I plugged in it would not work. Mine may have been defective. However not willing to try this adapter again

Really wish this had a networking jack and it doesn't do so great with the lid closed, you need to take the black guard off which makes it stick out from the laptop—guaranteed to break it off. I returned it and went with a OWC dock. Best choice ever.
