I was immediately impressed that this hub fit nicely with my MacBook Air. I believe that it was designed for a MacBook Pro, so I was impressed that it worked out for me. My MacBook Air is the 2019 model with the two USB C ports. The hub comes with a plate to make it snug and you’ll want to use the plate. Everything worked as advertised. I tested the USB C ports, the HDMI port and the two card readers. Everything was flawless. The charging port also worked perfectly. I hooked up a 28” 4K monitor and it looked great. While I truly appreciated not having a hub connected by a cable, it was also nice that it included a cable. The hub also worked flawlessly with my IPad Pro 2020 model. The video worked, as did the memory cards. This hub will add a lot of versatility to your USB C laptops and iPads. In addition to the two USB C ports, it also provides two USB A ports. Finally, a very nice case is provided to carry the hub. It gives enough room for the hub, adapter and the cable to adapt it to single USB devices.

Returned it because it wouldn’t work with the Apple Super Drive & my Mac Pro.

Wasnt compatible with the M1 chip for multiple external monitors in 4k.

I haven’t had to have a hub for Mac before, but given the few inputs, required a hub to be able to plug in all my non-wireless devices. This comes neatly packaged and is plug and play. It matches the gray color of my Mac perfectly, and connects with ease. The small lips on the hub helps keep it in place, but I did find during movement with some items plugged in, it would fall out easily. This also comes with a nice case for easy storage. However, given the price point, and the number of inputs and hdmi output for another monitor, this is an easy recommendation!

Overpriced...can get just as good item off of Amazon at less cost.

The HyperDrive Duo 7 is the perfect companion for my MacBook Pro and IPad Pro, as it gives me all the ports that they don’t have. Having the ability to use this with my iPad as well as my MacBook is a huge plus as now I don’t need two different hubs. I love the fact that I can also charge my iPad while using this.The DUO delivers all the ports you need and complements your MacBook Pro.

The dock itself is good but does not overcome the problems present in the design of the Macbook laptops themselves. Any dock that relies 100% on the stability of the USB ports to hold itself in place is just begging to destroy your laptop. The stand-off that comes with the hub is raised enough that it prevents the laptop from closing. Overall, does what it needs to do, but doesn't overcome the design flaws inherent to the computers it is meant to connect to.

I use this for my Macbook Pro and my Surface Pro 7 and it works perfectly on both. All of the ports I need without paying a ton for a dock, this hub is a huge lifesaver. I use my Macbook with my TV and the extra USB ports for my Surface Pro make it much more versatile. I throw this in my bag and I can take it everywhere!

This is a lifesaver. Many of my devices still require a usb and this comes in handy. I’m also a photographer so having a place to put my SD care is necessary.

The jack for connecting into the computer was very difficult to insert and unplug (pliers required). It required careful positioning to get connections. It appeared that the wires in the main USB line were fragile. Once I got everything set it has worked well.

I was a big fan of the original DUO, and I must say, this is a big improvement. It fits my new MacBook Pro perfectly. All the ports I could ever need.

This is a great solution to an unfortunate problem (disappointing that the newer model MacBooks do not have these ports any longer)! I chose this design because it stays snug to the computer, while other types were connected by a cord and seemed like they would make it cumbersome to move around with.

I have a 2020 MacBook Pro and it only has USB-C ports and I needed something that has multiple ports with usb and hdmi and this exactly what I needed! It’s very handy and easy to use.

I absolutely love this USB-C hub! I love how it's compatible with my new MacBook 16-inch, and it comes with an extension cable to work with the iPad Pro I have as well. Unlike other USB-C hubs, this one has 4K 60Hz so the resolution is crystal clear. I'll start bringing this everywhere now. Highly recommended!

Compact, well built, well functioning device that allows multiple connections to MacBook or MacAir. Extremely useful.

I was surprised how small this device was when it came, but it is pretty cool. this device plugs into the C Port on the right side of the Macbook and adds two USB ports and also an additional card reader slot and is handy to have around especially since the Macs do not come equipped with USB old style and only come with USB C which prevents a lot of regular USB technology from accessing the ports on newer Macbooks. I like having this capability and was wondering when they would come out with a product like this one. Awesome little device I bring with me everywhere.

Purchased the Duo hub as gift to my hubby. He loves the magnetic grip fits very securely with his Macbook pro, very nice quality with amazing design.

I Bought This Item After Having A Bad Experience With Another Device And It Works So Great

Good one, works with out installing any drivers - Works perfectly with new MacBook Pro with M1 chip and my iPad Pro.
