High expectations for a high price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with my iPad Pro 2020 (11in). Didn't have any issues accessing files and stuff, but this thing is cumbersome. Doesn't play well with my keyboard case and I had to use it flipped backwards or with the dongle attachment, which defeats the purpose of connecting right on the iPad. The separate dongle then serves as a middleman for the entire port, then causing connectivity issues. For such a steep price, I would have expected a better design and much better performance. Will be looking for a different solution.

Poor Quality
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked okay for a few months using only the AC power input. When I added an HDMI cable the device started to disconnect from my iPad. I just spent 20 minutes on a chat w/Best Buy which went nowhere. I’ll buy another type of adapter. I only hope the iPad port isn’t damaged. Hyper Drive adapter is also very expensive compared to similar available. It’s a good idea, too bad it doesn’t work well.

Works part of the time
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item works part of the time. Used it for a USB drive. Drive shows up then disappears after a minute or so. Have to fool with the hyper drive to get it to show up again.

Doesn’t always work
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my hub specifically to use with my iPad Pro, and it was more trouble than it was worth. It would only work sometimes. Sometimes it would disconnect whatever usb c drive I had connected, other times it wouldn’t recognize anything I had plugged into it (even if it was compatible). It also doesn’t work well with all screen protectors and cases, so watch out for that. I’ve had better luck with an Anker hub.

NON USB C Hub
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice little hub, but it lacks USB C ports and that what i needed the most. Other than that it seems to work well.

Mediocre
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does not work with any case on your computer. You must take your case off for it to work.

It doesn’t last.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seriously disappointed with how quickly this thing broke. Long story short, I got about 80 uses out of the SD port before it stopped working. I tried four different types of cards (Sony Tough, Sandisk, Prograde, and a Samsung Evo MicroSD with SD adapter), none of them are recognized by the reader. It took me nearly a year of owning it to find this out because I only use it about once a week to bring files onto my iPad for editing for my photography hobby so I’m wait outside the return window. Bummer. I don’t recommend this one at all.

Gets dangerously hott
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used this with my MacBook Air, iMac, and chrome book. When connected to all devices it gets hot to where I can barely touch it. Works great but I wouldn’t trust it alone. I use it and unplug it ASAP. Other than that it’s great

Looks nice, but that's about it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device seemed solid and I liked that it attached directly to my iPad or MacBook because I have had issues with the cable failing on others. Shortly after getting it though, it started to have issues with connecting to my devices, so I am moving on to another brand.

Better Options Available
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a secure attachment. USB-C port is for charging only, no data. So $90 for a USB-A connection. I would’ve returned it if I could’ve. Search elsewhere for something worth the money. Not garbage, but definitely not worth the money.

Works with the 2020 iPad Pro 12.9
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All of the ports work with the iPad.the one draw back is that hub will not fit directly on the iPad if you have a screen protector on. But the hub does come with an extension cable to use in these cases.

HyperDrive 6-Port USB C Hub
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hyperdrive 6-port USB for Apple iPad Pro I was hoping would work out better but my Apple iPad Pro has a lightning connector not a USB C connector

$90 piece of junk
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Truly a complete waste of money. Purchased for my iPad Pro- turns out the device will not recognize it. Figure hey whatever, I’ll use it as a hub for my laptop- same exact issue. Would return in a heart beat if I could. Save your money and buy something that actually works!
