You just have to make sure it’s fully inserted into one of the USB-C ports. I just wish that the connection was more snug.

Apparently whether it was Apple or aftermarket, NONE of the USB-C to 3.5mm cables would work for my headphones. I got this and it works! Charges the iPad as well which is a good thing. I did NOT they the HDMI but can’t wait until I do need it for like a hotel TV with downloaded movies over VuDu.

For some reason, pass through charging, the main reason I purchased this version, stopped working. Accessories will work with the power from the iPad pro but no more charging.
