I love this device. It attaches easily and I can use my external hard drive easily and play music.

The first one I bought had a malfunctioning port which initially wouldn't register the external drive I plugged in. The usb A ports were also so tight that I struggled to plug anything in them at all and was worried about causing damage to my drives and my laptop. I bought it on sale for a good price and the brand was recommended by a Best Buy employee so I exchanged it for another hoping for a better result. Unfortunately there wasn't one available in the store so I couldn't check it out before I left and had it shipped to home. When I opened it and tried to plug it in the prongs wouldn't insert all the way into the ports on my laptop. I tried the cord that came with it and same thing. I plugged my phone cord in as the laptop is new and wanted to be sure that the ports were functional and it worked fine. The docking station just hangs loosely on the edge of the laptop and because I can't plug it in properly may devices can't connect to the laptop. I would not recommend this brand.

It works great with the USB but I am not sure why it keeps causing my monitor to flicker using HDMI. It's too pricey for the quality of the connection. I guess if you are using just regular USB it works fine.

The product worked well but favors the left handed user.

This dock sits too high off the bottom of the computer to be stable when placed on a table and too loose to stay attatched if laptop is moved in any way whatsoever. It’s an absolute nightmare especially when you have multiple devices tapped into it, something nudges your laptop then it disconnects, potentially corrupting the data stored on any storage device you plugged in into it…

This hub is awesome. It is very sturdy with the adapter and it doesn’t feel like it’s just hanging on by the two type-c inputs. The read, transfer, and charging rate work just as described.

The dock constantly overheats. I have a monitor and two external drives attached. Every other day or so, the dock overheats and for a split second, stops the connection to the drives-- long enough to corrupt one or both. I really wish I could return it.

Works well with my Mac laptop. I can do my work on my 77 inch Sony Bravia. Makes viewing an easier.
