it does not fit around cases so if I was going to use it I had to remove my case. They should have put a USB on the lap top but apple is not always so intelligent. I had to return it because taking my lap top out of the case repeatedly was more dangerous then just not having it in the first place.

This guy works great, it's a must have as not everything uses USB C yet. Make sure when you plug it in it snaps and is flush with the Mac or else it will not work.

It work well and good video streaming except for need to remove protection case.

Hyperdrive makes it more convenient to download pictures with jumpdrives and SD cards.

This is a good hub that you must have for the new MacBook Pro.

This works well with my Mac Book. I just wished it is secured better on the connector.

When I went to pick up the HyperDrive, I was looking for the 9-banger, but all they had was the 7-banger...The main difference (other than the two ports) is the 7-banger has a profile that attaches to both connectors instead of a cord and dongle...I was afraid of snapping the darn thing off in the Mac USB-C ports

This is a great hub, but doesn't fit with the case on. Not a problem with the hub, but thought I'd throw that out there for those choosing to bundle like I did.

I bought this device to allow me to easily use an older external DVD drive and also so I can hook up HDMI to my displays that don’t have AppleTV’s on them.

It gets the job done. It can even help my MacBook connect to the TV so I can watch other stuff on the TV. Good pricing for it.

I sort of knew I would need one of these when I bought my laptop but waited a couple weeks to purchase. It really expands what you are able to do with a mac. Love it.

Same color as MacBook. Also flush/level. Won’t fit if you have a case protector though

This is 100% necessary for Mac, especially if you like having a mouse/usb headphones. Feels sturdy. Comes with a magnetic leathery case to keep it in. Would buy another one!

The only downside to my MacBook is that it doesn't have all of the ports that I need. This little gadget takes care of that for me! This is the best value that I found!

Pretty much a must buy when buying the new Mac bc it adds USB ports etc. the new Mac I purchased has no ports I hate that they are getting rid of all types of ports etc.
