    I regret this purchase. It makes me sick knowing that i basically lost $80. The connection worked for about 2 weeks. Now it works less than 25% of the time. When it does work, connection drops are expected due to the loose fit.

    Seeing many reviews online highlighting problems with these sorts of devices, and unfortunately, this early Kickstarter unit is not free of them. Particularly, it doesn't support the Apple DVD drive, though it will charge my iPhone. Very disappointing for the money, and seriously considering returning it.

    The way the unit plugs into the Mac isn't very solid. Only minor movements of connected devices cause the connection to be disrupted which is a big problem with connected hard drives. I retuned it. Best Buy was great about the return,
