Product overheats in less than 5 min, can't handle HDMI +USB (its purpose)...makes connection to my 2nd screen terrible/ touchy. Constantly having to unplug/ replug in connections, or let it cool down. DO NOT BUY

This product is not compatible for Mac book pro 2018 as they advertise. I got 2 to check if it just a particular item.

Getting use to this product. Wish it had more USB ports

Not a fan I have already returned it. its difficult to line up and install. and its also very hard to remove from the ports>I became concerned that over time it would damage the thunderbolt ports. Also the color was not matched well to the space gray Mac I bought with it.

See above. Would have worked if a fingernail width more.

I needed it because the Mac doesn’t have he USB ports.

Hyperdrive didn't work with my new MacBook Pro :-(

This item works ok. It didn’t work with the SuperDrive bc it doesn’t give the drive power so I had to go buy another accessory in order to run the drive. I was told that it would run the drive but didn’t. Other than that it works fine.

Does not make a good connection. Rarely get a light indicates it is working. No instructions on use. Put in chip with photos and nothing couldn’t be read. Computer didn’t recognize.

Very hot all the time even when not using computer. Sticks out way too far. Had to push extra hard to get it to stay in. Cannot use both USB at same time- second one cuts out first one.

It worked great at the beginning, but after several uses, not even a year and something is not working correctly, without being moved it states that it has been disconnected,.

Crappy. First one didn't work at all. Had to return. 2nd one doesn't work all the time. Is so sensitive when plugged in if there is the slightest vibration in the room it disconnects.

I bought this hoping it would work with my new Mac Pro laptop. Instead I was annoyed that it kept disconnecting which is a big problem with flash drives. I returned it and BestBuy gave me my money back.

I had to return this piece of crap. It has two USB-C connectors and you have to really push it in hard. The slightest movement will make the device lose connection. Don't buy!

This product is low quality. Yes it does what it says, but because the product is so flimsy & cheap it unplugs like butter. As a video editor this is my nightmare.

The design of this adapter will not work if you are using a case for your Lap Top. It is much more expensive than the more useful Dongle adapter with the same ports.

This functions as it should- the ports all work. The problem is the design. If it gets bumped at all, it actually comes out of the USB C port just enough that whatever is connected to the device is ejected. Maybe if you only use it at a desk it might be okay, but that entirely defeats the purpose of having a laptop. I'm sure they were going for a "pretty" seamless design, but appearance over function is never a good plan. I am switching to a corded multi-adapter before I end up with pieces broken off in my computer.

As a photographer, I tried to depend on this thing to manage files while on the go. Not a good solution. It’s left me with corrupt hard drives and countless files lost. There isn’t enough money to make me suggest this to anyone. An absolute waste of space.
