This product stopped working just after an year. Do not expect this to last longer.

This is now two of these hyperdrives with the exact same issue - the 2nd port will not recognize anything that is plugged in. I know it's not my MacBook, it's a brand knew 2017 model, two weeks old. I also tested it with someone who has the 2016 MacBook Pro, same thing - second port does not work. The concept is cool, but the execution is lacking.

This takes up both usb c slots when I have power going through it and the hdmi as well the computer will freeze when I unplug the hdmi while charging. It even gets hot fast transfers files via usb. Pointless tech so Apple can make more money the more I use Apple products the more I’m not liking apple

This product gives you many ports at the cost of one USB-C port. So on the surface level, this seems like a gem. Having said that, this device has one shortcoming: It disconnects your wifi. I don't need to go into detail why this is a massive headache, but I heavily advise that you pay the premium and go with an Apple version.

Does not work period. I tried putting something underneath it so that it would be level with the ports, thinking that would tighten or improve the connection. Nada. So back to my cheapie Sabrent adapter. Extremely frustrating, expensive and time consuming to return.

Let me first start with the only good thing about this product - Matches the MacBook color.. Nothing else.. Quality is bad.. You get solid quality in Dollar Store. Secondly, you cannot use DUAL monitors using this hub. Gets hot in less than hour and WFIF interference.. Please do not waste your money in this product.

After purchasing and using once it completely fried my new MacBook Pro and The computer had to be sent out for major repair that would have costed over $580 for complete logic board replacement but thankfully is still under warranty. Buyer beware if your computer is not under warranty.

The adapter didn't work at all. For $100 you would expect a product to work. Thing was totally dead and did not do anything when plugged into my brand new MacBook Pro. I even plugged it in on the other side to make sure my ports weren't faulty. Still did not work.

on the left side of my MacBook Pro, it does not detect at all. on the right side, it barely detects. since I bought this thing many months ago, I guess I am stuck with it. useless waste of money.

While this looks nice and in a compact form, it constantly disconnects. I'd say it stays connected about 50% of the time and that percentage is NOT good when I use it everyday for work.

I had un-plug and replug overtime we started computer to get it to work. Did all software updates still not right. 10.12.6 Got apple adapter and it worked great. Great idea and I wished it worked.

This is a cheaply made, poor quality item. It doesn't stay plugged in and the slightest movement causes it to shift. Do not waste your time with this item. It is not worth the time or, money.

My ports stopped working! It doesn't connect when i plug the regular laptop charger or the iphone charger. I spent $90+ for this and it stopped working.

I doesn't work. I plugged it into my new MacBook Pro 2018 and none of the devices I plugged into it worked. I tried it on both sides of the computer and upside down. No luck.

Does not work for all new 2018 Mac Book Pro 15". Made me drive back to the store and to exchange for a J5 create Ultra Drive.

This hub will not work with a 12" macbook. It requires 2 usb-c ports. The 12" macbook only comes with 1 usb-c port. Don't waste your time or money trying to buy this for a 12" macbook.

Poor design. It does not stay connection, to the point the wear it's corrupted my drive during data transfer. I recommend not purchasing this.
