Got this for a new MacBook Pro 13” with 4 thunderbolt drives. Plugs right in to two of the drives and the color matches nicely. All ports work as advertised and it is very portable. Very satisfied.

No problems with ports, everything works just fine, only one big small issue, if you're gonna use this adapter, you will accept the fact that you are not using any case for your expensive MacBook Pro. So if you can settle for a simple MacBook Skins as protection from scratches. This will work for you

Love that I can now have USB cables, HDMI, etc. Just makes using the computer much more easy since the MacBook Air only comes with 2 Thunderbolt connectors.

This is very handy to have. Does not fit on computer if you have a case on it so I recommend getting the one made by Apple. But I’ve had an overall great experience with this product.

I bought this mainly for the card reader I had one before for my MacBook Pro but it was double tethered to it and it was just soooo slow. I bought this one and not only does the card reader work so much faster but there are also other ports such as a mini as card reader and a couple of usb readers as well.

Fits right into the ports on a MacBook Pro. Doesn't miss much in terms of functionality. I like the little travel sleeve for it too. I take this everywhere I travel for work.

purchased this b/c, as you know, the new Mac Pro has no way of putting any kind of drive in the computer. I tried putting the HyperDrive on the left side of my MacPro but I had to put something under it to keep it level so that the light would stay on. I put it on the right side and it sounded as if it snapped in and I didn't have to hold it to get it to work. Used my SD and my USB together to transfer pictures. Worked good. Only bad thing, if you don't have enough memory in your computer and you have a ton of pictures, it will be hard to use. It kept cutting off on my saying I didn't eject the HyperDrive correctly.

Bought two USB-C accessories because of the lack of USB and HDMI slots. Luckily, I saw this accessory and quickly looked up the reviews. How I wish I saw this HyperDrive when I bought my MacBook. Now I spent ~ $200 in just accessories alone. Nevertheless, this HyperDrive is a must. Small enough to carry around. I'd rather carry one accessory than 4. Only complaint that I have is priced, other than that, its a must buy in Best Buy!

I love my MBP but with the limited peripherals using usb c you need something like this. This one is great as it offers so many options and fits nicely up against the Mac.

Was really excited to get this sleek, stylish hub, that seemed sturdier and more appealing than the standard dongle. Unfortunately this doesn't work if you like to protect your MacBook Pro with a hard shell case. I have to take my case off to use this. Bummed, but making it work. Hopefully I shall find extenders.

The adaptor is pretty great and includes almost everything you will need. It takes up both of your USB-C ports, but there are USB-C ports on the adaptor itself, so you can still charge your laptop. My only wish is that it included the older display port. I usually use VGA connections in my classrooms when I teach, so my old adaptor is rendered useless because I can't attach it to this adaptor. Otherwise, really good so far.

I was thrilled to get this on a Black Friday deal. Initially it worked wonderfully, but after about 6 months the connection would go in and out. It can be temperamental - I don’t know if that’s from normal wear and tear, or just how this device progresses with use. Overall, great when it works, but sometimes you have to unplug and plug back in to get it to do so.

The expansion really matches my mac book with its color. It isn't bulky and stands out but works like an original attachment to it. The ports work fine a year in.
