Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the HyperDrive 7-Port USB C Hub's numerous USB ports, ease of use, and compact size, finding it convenient for expanding their MacBook's connectivity. However, some customers express concerns regarding compatibility issues, the price point, connection stability, and the device's tendency to generate heat. The sleek design is frequently praised. Despite some drawbacks, many appreciate the added ports and user-friendliness.

This hyperdrive may seem to have a heavy price tag to some...however, it is way better than having a million and one dongles which will also cost you. It is great to have as I take it to work and use it easily with the HDMI port, standard usb's and the usb-c ports. Works very efficiently.

Very handy, in case you have some other files in non-USB C drives (USB only). Also useful to connect to HDMI. And always include two USB-C.

Not sure if it's a necessary device to own

It's been two weeks and the base is splitting from the rest of the device. Contacted manufacturer and they have a 1 year warranty on product with proof of purchase. So, I will be submitting a claim. I'm not that happy with the USB ports, as they do not provide a lot of power to charge devices, like iPhone or (i)Watch. It won't even charge the watch and it charges the phone very very slowly. I was told by manufacturer to turn off both devices to charge. I can see that for the watch, but turning off the phone seems a bit much. Only 5w of power is provided to each USB port. So without the USB ports, it's a useless device. I don't use the card slots as I only use them in my camera, and I'm not a professional photographer where I need to empty my cards that often.

Great way to take cutting edge technology and add legacy items to the laptop. Connection can be a little temper mental, but overall it has been a device to allow me to connect to projectors, tvs or thumbdrives.

I love my MacBook Pro but wish it had a standard USB port and an sd holder like my old MacBook Air. This helps alleviate those concerns.

If the hyperdrive is plugged upside down, it will not work. If there is a case on the Macbook, the hyperdrive cannot plugin and will not work. Make sure to remove the case to use hyperdrive.

Easy to use, plug and play. No problems at all. Only issue is that the MacBook cannot have a cover on the bottom, not enough clearance for USB-C's to be all the way in with a cover in place.

Ideal for New MacBook Airs to connect USB and More. Needed this in order to connect a hp monitor also add my ring light. Had it only for a couple of weeks but so far it has worked perfectly. I didn't think it important when I ordered it, but it is nice that it matches the body of the computer.

I️t does suck that you have to buy an extended dock for all your plugs but this device does the trick. Firm and sits in pace very well

Purchased a new MacBook Pro. Not crazy about the new ports Apple uses. Needed a way to download photos, use my printer and plug in my headphones. There are many solutions out there but my sales associate Eric at Best Buy suggested the Hyperdrive Hub. It's excellent and looks really cool! Check it out, you'll agree!!

If you need to synchronize another device-say a Garmin or an old iPod-that uses a standard USB port, this is the only way you can do it. Be sure to factor it into your budget. It works just fine.

It works for MacPro. It allows you to plug HMDI and has 2 port of UBS. color is not exactly the same tone than my computer but is close enough. You can buy Insignia, it is cheaper and works well.
