    If this was able to be used WITH a case on my Mac I would be greatly satisfied but since I have to take my case off my Mac in order to use this adapter I am not greatly satisfied as I thought I would be.

    I bought this with new MacBook Pro. The HDMI worked fine but the USB didn’t work with my apple superdrive CD drive. It said it needed power?? I had to exchange for an actual apple product.
