This adapter is needed if you purchase a MacBook. I did find it expensive. I only recommend it if it’s needed

So we are new to mac..sorta..been years since dealing with them, but the new thunderbolt port does have its challenges and this device cleared it all up! looked at many options and reviews and settled on this. so far it is doing just what we need

Bought a new MacBook for work as we changed from using Surface to Mac. I needed to have a bit more connect ability for my office and this works amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone buying a MacBook for their office home or work.

Obtained this for the new MAC Pro and needed ability to connect various items with USB port. Works perfectly and I use it for wireless keyboard and mouse, iPhone/iPad, and external hard drive and occasionally for external CD drive. Highly recommend this item.

Good quality, but a little bit overpriced. Looks aluminium but it's plastic.

At first this was 5 stars but after putting on the hard case it won't connect, so I have to take the bottom case off when using this hub.

This Hyperdrive works great, I can insert my drone micro sd card into this for editing footage. I also can plug my older usb external drives in as well for saving the files. You can also hook the MacBook Pro up to a tv for family viewing of footage. Great buy.

This is a nice adapter that is very useful for many things! The only downside is this product is loose and disconnects easily.

It works as advertised and the price was reasonable. But can someone figure out how to make a hardrive that can talk to both widows and Mac??

This is supposed to be the best dongle in the market but I was wrong. I was so happy this has everything I needed but it didn't work the way its supposed to. So disappointed. I was gonna exchange it cause I might just have gotten a defective one but I also read a review that this doesn't support super drive. Returned and purchased a J5 create Usb 3.1 type-c charging bridge.

although the feel of the product seems cheap (lightweight and plastic) it performs beautifully and attaches firmly in place with no worry about it falling out or coming loose until you are ready to remove it. it has plenty of ports and is well made.

I didn't want to spend the money. But this works really well. I do wish it had some thunderbolt ports. But ? Maybe? USB c can't convert over to thunderbolt?

It is very hard to remove the HyperDrive from the MacBook and it does not feel secure when attached to the MacBook. Also very hard to remove anything hooked up to the HyperDrive it’s self. Any small movement if not on a flat surface messes with the HyperDrive. Apple Super Drive is not comtablile with this device at all, no power. Dissaopinted, almost there.

Looks nice and flush but if you have a case on your MACBOOK pro, you will need a USB-C extender as it will not plug into the ports

The new Apple MacBook Pro 13" has no ports. If you have an external monitor, use USB drives to transfer data, recharge fitness devices, or want to do a hard transfer of picture files, this device is a basic requirement.

Product works. Use it to hook up MBP to monitor. Only worry is when I get a case for MBP, if the hub will still connect properly.

This unit is very sturdy and reliable, The slim line case is very handy. This hyperdrive works flawlessly and snaps securely to the computer for use the you get an active indicator light to let you know it is active. Excellent buy.

When I purchased my Mac my salesperson suggested I add this to allow flexibility, It takes the two UBC-C ports and adds USB, HDMI, micro SD while utilizing the ports on the machine. It makes for less "equipment" to complete your system.

Great concept fir the flexibility to have several items being used in conjunction with the computer however you have to take off the case when using it.

I’m pleased that I was able to find one device to be able to connect everything. Apple’s lack of ports make this purchase necessary.
