These were just what I needed to relieve my tired legs

I was a little disappointed in these, I am an avid runner and do a lot of lifting. Trying to take recovery more serious and stretching and theragun do more than these. Maybe I was expecting too much. They are okay, not sure if I will keep.

I've had this product for about 2 weeks now and have used it 4 times. So far, I have to say I'm super impressed and pleased with how my legs feel the next day after using this product! It's a weird feeling to get used to at first if you don't do a lot of things that involve compression, but you get used to it fairly easily. There's 7 different levels you can try. The highest I've tried so far is 5 and that seems to do a great job for me. The compression is strong and consistent, but you also get a massaging sensation as well. The setup is really easy as well. The first time you charge the system, it does take a while so you just have to be mindful of that. The app you can download is user friendly and makes things a little more easy. Pairing your phone to the bluetooth was also easy. The only three cons I can think of is that the length of the leg attachments is a little too long for me (I'm 5'5"). They bunch up at the top and the compression can feel a little too much/weird but it's bearable and not a deal breaker for me. The box that you can change the levels and session time on is surprisingly heavy and bulky and lastly is the price. It's a very expensive recovery system for the average person. If you train a lot or are a huge fitness buff, it really is worth it though. Even after 2 weeks of use after some heavy leg days, I can honestly say my legs don't feel as dead the next day and I'm able to get more out of my workouts because of it.

I am definitively not a professional athlete or an Olympic runner but an almost 50 y-o guy that enjoys running and each year does a couple of Marathons and some half marathons with an average of 25 to 30 miles per week in his legs. I don’t know about medical science and probably if you look for a professional review, this is not the best place (plenty of testimonies in the web). I’ve been using normatech recovery for legs for the last two weeks almost every day, in some cases to recoup from a long run (yesterday 15.5 miles), sometimes in days between trainings to see the effect in my legs. I can confirm that I noticed that my recovery time has been significantly improved from before, feeling less sored than ever and being ready earlier for the next run. In addition to that, some of the pain’s levels, Achilles tendinitis, in one foot are reduced faster than before. The package includes two boots, one hose, the control unit (an advanced air compressor that allows to manage the full system including the pulses and the pressure level) and the power supply. Yes, I also miss the carry case that could be an evident addition. The use is quite intuitive, you do all with the control unit and the app that are connected Bluetooth. Inserting your legs in the long boots (I am 5.11, and the boot are covering my entire leg) and connecting the different hoses it’s are ready to work on you. Turning one the control, the boots start to be filled with air and by a controlled pattern the system applies a controlled pressure and air release to different zones of your leg muscles playing over the blood circulation. The pressure and the zones (up to 5 per leg) are controlled by the unit and with the app, so you can adjust the process to your own comfort/resistance zone. From experience when inserting the boots, I recommend doing the exact adjustment in your feet and ankles first and cover the rest of the leg after that, you don’t only make sure that the pressure is evenly applied but also your feet are receiving the pressure in the soft parts and not in your bones. All is built in a high-quality material: boots’ fabric, hose and zippers, that seems to guaranty you a long term use. This is very important considering the amount invested and the fact that all works based on applying air pressure over your legs. You don’t need to be connected to the power supply all the time, the control unit has a battery inside that, in my experience could keep up to 1h 30 minutes at pressure level 4 (couple of cycles). The power supply works entering and controlling air into your boots, so a certain sound level is expected. In my opinion, is not loud enough that you will not be able to watch TV or if you are tired enough (after 15,5 miles) will stop you from doing a nap. The full kit is a bit bulky to me to place it in my small luggage, but I’ve been able by taking all the air out of the boots, to compress it in a quite decent size to travel with me to my runs. My only “but” and disappointment, with all this experience is clearly the app. I use android phone (Galaxy N8) and with the last version up to now (v 1.5) I’ve been absolutely unable to sync the control unit and the phone. Despite the Bluetooth connection is stablished, the app can not control some of the functionalities: regulate zones, having statistics.. so my interaction remains restricted to the control unit. I have the confidence that in a future app development, this will be fixed but for that price should be already done. My wife iphone doesn’t have the same issue with the same unit. I already reported this glitch to their technical unit.

Not the items fault but make sure you want it. Best buy has no shame in charging you 15% restocking fee even if you bought it for your dad and he never tried it. He tore the outside box that houses the actual product box and bc of that I ate a 15% fee. You do the math on what that cost me.
