It doesn't hold in your hand as well as the Alacantara case does. It does feel a bit scratchier but I think that's the point. You don't want to loose your grip and you don't want a slippery surface. I believe this case blocks dust and debris from getting behind the case which will keep scratches off the back of the phone. Just as the Alacantara case does. The Scosche brand magnet (sold separately) works thru the case very well and otherwise would have been a deal breaker had it not. Nice red metallic buttons and no outside branding help in the aesthetics department. I'll give it 5 stars as I don't keep anything below a personal 5 star rating. There are just too many options vying for my dollar to settle.

This case is really unique and the back sensor cutouts look great. I wouldn't reccomend if you have or get dry hands because it feels kind of gross against the material. It offers more protection than I thought (hit the bottom corner from chest height drop onto concrete) but maybe I just got lucky. It's a tight fit so dust doesn't get underneath the case and still easy to get on and off. It's also safe to set your phone facedown. I would reccomend using a screen protector with this case.

This case is a great look but after a few weeks it got pretty dirty. I was able to wash most of it clean but there are still some stains on it.

Product is not made of soft material. While it looks great it doesn't feel as great in hand.

The case is gorgeous but I'm not in favor in how the case feels in hand. The texture feels scratchy and uncomfortable. Returning case.

The phone case works as the manufacturer designed it to. Case gets very dirty, very fast.

Also, I wish there were more color choices to choose from.
