I needed a new keyboard as my default HP one finally died. I game somewhat often, but didn't want to spend a lot on a mechanical just yet. I've been happy with this one. The led lights are cool and can be changed on the keyboard, though not with any software. Only reason for 4 stars is I don't like that I have to have the lights on in order to see the characters, which are basically clear to allow the light to pass through.

The ease of using this product has been amazing. The mechanical keys have a satisfying sound that is not too loud. The RGB of this product is a nice touch but nothing too over the top.

High quailty keyboard with durable keys and execellent RGB lighting. Should hold up well for long term usage.

I didn't want a mechanical keyboard mainly due to the loudness factor. Plus, a lot of the mechanical keyboards I've used have ultra-raised keys, which feel extremely unnatural these days since most keyboards are much lower in profile. This one splits the difference on key height, but it is also WAY quieter than any mechanical I've experienced. I mainly use this for work and home music production, but have dabbled in some simple games on Steam and I could type on this bad boy all day. As long as it doesn't fail, I'll be holding on to this puppy for the duration! Way better than a $25 keyboard. Well worth the extra price!

Very solid keyboard. Has all of the buttons needed for sound and numbers. Like the option of being able to change the colors. The only reason why I rated it 4 instead of 5 because I wished it was wireless.

I love this keyboard! I love the way it feels, the way it responds and the lights on it are a great. The thickness of the keyboard was a lot more than what i was expecting so at some point i plan on getting a wrist rest, the keyboard does have kickstands on the back that raise the keyboard a little bit but it could be more. Overall it is a great keyboard, and the ease of having media buttons is a big plus because i am always listening to music when i'm on the computer, the only thing i have a small issue with is how thick the keyboard actually is and that's my fault because i didn't notice it while it was on display in the store.

The keyboard is good and sounds good when I type on it the colors on that keyboard is very cool and honestly this is a good keyboard for gaming.

The best keyboard in its price and one that can match keyboards above its price range.the backlight are cool and keyboards are mechanical like pro keyboard sets.

It's awesome. It works great and functions well. It plugs in with a regular USB port. You can turn the lights off, although they look really cool when on. there are many light modes including 2 that have multi color. The size is great to, it doesn't get in the way. I don't use the number key pad though.

Lights up, great touch, super user friendly. Debated on more expensive keyboards but very happy with my choice.

This keyboard has a good feel, is accurate in use by someone who learned to touch type on an IBM Selectric. The biggest plus is, it's not $150 or more like so many of the other mechanical, light up keyboards on offer. The only downside is the sound volume button is right near the upper edge of the keyboard, so if you pick it up to move it, you'll probably turn your sound off. Also worth noting: works perfectly under Linux Mint or System76 PopOS. All the multimedia buttons map and work correctly.

Plugged it in and it worked immediately. The change constantly and blend into eachother, and are nice to look at. I haven't bothered messing around with it any further, but I think you can program the keys to stay one color, or light up different colors on different sections of the keyboard. Not worrying about it now though. Keys are clickier than I'd prefer, but still relatively much quieter than other options. Also wish the upper right keys starting above the numbered keys section would light up, cause i can never find them when it's dark, which is annoying.

Much better than the steel series I had. I took that back because it was malfunctioning. It also requires software and you have to log in, Ugh.. it's a freaking keyboard. But this Hyper X is very smooth typing, Just the right size. I'm very happy with it. Keys are lighted and there are key combinations you can type to change the pattern.

Cannot beat the deal of the day price for a keyboard this nice. It’s really heavy duty feeling and grippy… won’t slide around on you. The ability to lock your windows key so you don’t accidentally hit it when you don’t want to has already come in handy. The customizable colors of the LEDs are cool too. Maybe this is all standard for a gaming keyboard, but if soooo worth it if all you’re used to is a standard one that comes w a cheap pc!

Awesome color and brightness. Easy custimation. It does lack some customization that some more expensive keyboards have, but for the price it has plenty. The keycaps are a little tough to see if not lit, but while lit it looks clear and sharp. The keys press with light push and are very clicky without being overly loud. As before, a more expensive option may be quieter, but for the price tag it is a very pleasant tactile experience overall.

Great keyboard with variable light options. Keys have a very good feel to them and unlike all other keyboards I've had, the letters won't wear off and are easy to locate if need be due to the light feature. Added plus is the keyboard is waterproof so it's easy to clean and deal with any liquid spills. I'm happy

I bought a new gaming PC and wanted a new keyboard/mouse. I keep hearing about mechanical keys being more responsive. I did my research on all the different 'touches' and didn't like anything i looked at. Then while shopping those keyboards, I came across this HyperX keyboard, and loved the keys. It had everything I wanted. separate 10key, and separate multi-media keys. there is no software to program the RBG, but the button cycling is fine for me. I don't need that level of customization. Been using this keyboard a month for gaming, and i'm not disappointed.
