I had been looking for a keyboard that didn't require intrusive software for RGB lights. I also don't need hundreds of combinations of color schemes for those lights. This one fit the bill and seems to be well made so far. I'm fine with membrane and didn't want to pay hundreds for for something I'd need to return or replace anyway.

It’s awesome keyboard. With all the color customization features and fast response time. I highly recommend. Only downside is if you’re looking for a slim keyboard and the cable being detachable then you would have to look for an alternative keyboard. Other than that I do not regret buying this keyboard.

Works as described, definitely better for gaming than for typing.

The Hyper-X Alloy Core Keyboard fits my every day needs. I use it for work during the day, and gaming at night. It seems much more responsive than previous keyboards I've used for my set-up. I bought this keyboard at a discounted price of $29.99 and I felt that was a very fair value. It may not be the greatest keyboard from a technical standpoint, but it services my needs perfectly.

I purchased this keyboard when my work keyboard died on me. I love the lights and how you can change the colors as well as brightness or you can turn the lights off. It was hard to see the keys when the lights are turned off but i know where all the keys are so no problem. Keyboard is super comfortable to type on and not loud. I will never go back to a standard keyboard again.

I have gone through several mechanical keyboards and several different types of key switches. Of course, they are nice for show, but I have never been a fan of noisy clicks and clacks. I also do not like how the typical membrane keyboard feels. This keyboard however, is the perfect compromise. It does not feel cheap like a regular membrane keyboard, yet it is more silent than silent cherry mx reds. This is my second pair already which I'm using for my office computer.

bought this for the lighting capability to help with seeing the keys. Works well. solid feel and good to type on. I am not a gamer. Better keyboard than what came with my computer.

I've had this guy at least a year and it still works fine. I wanted a lighted keyboard but didn't really crave the multicolored moving lights, which I deselected. It has a pretty good feel or "touch" to the keys - I can type pretty fast. It's a bit noisier than my last keyboard but the feel is solid and the springs that pop the keys back up are strong and consistent. Good value!

I love this keyboard! The backlit keys are amazing and I like being able to change the RGB effects with the just the touch of a key. I am new to HyperX products but I will definitely be back for more in the future. The only thing I wish it had was an on/off switch when I am not using it. It has a gaming setting to turn off the Windows key but the entire keyboard will not lock. It is not a deal breaker for me, just something I would like to have as a feature.

love the rgb settings, very durable and minimal noise compared to my other blue switch keyboard.

Im an Xbox player and I use this for Minecraft and when I rage and trash talk to my teammates and or the opponents. Its very well made and it better than I expected it to be.
