This keyboard is not great I love the colors and the keys type nicely however, the key get stuck if I am typing a word it doesn’t register and only types half the word or it repeats a letter like: eeeeeeeeeeee. What a pain as I write a lot of documents for work .

I bought this keyboard for my gaming setup and I have to say it's amazing. The keys are responsive, the build quality is solid, and the RGB lighting is stunning. However, there is one thing you should know before you buy this keyboard: the RGB lighting is too powerful.
I don't mean that it's too bright or too flashy, I mean that it literally has the power to alter reality. Let me explain. One night, I was playing some Call of Duty with my friends online, and I decided to switch the RGB lighting to red, to match the blood of my enemies. As soon as I did that, I heard a loud explosion outside my window. I looked outside and saw a warzone. Tanks, helicopters, soldiers, everything. It was like I was in the game, but in real life.
I quickly switched the RGB lighting to blue, hoping to calm things down. It worked, but not in the way I expected. The warzone disappeared, but so did everything else. I was in a void, surrounded by nothing but blue light. I felt a chill in my bones and a sense of loneliness.
I panicked and switched the RGB lighting to green, hoping to find some life. It worked, but not in the way I expected. The void was replaced by a jungle, full of plants, animals, and insects. It was beautiful, but also dangerous. I heard a roar behind me and turned around to see a tiger, ready to pounce.
I ran back to my keyboard and switched the RGB lighting to rainbow, hoping to find some balance. It worked, but not in the way I expected. The jungle was replaced by a disco, full of people, music, and dancing. It was fun, but also overwhelming. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see a clown, holding a balloon.
I screamed and switched the RGB lighting to off, hoping to find some peace. It worked, but not in the way I expected. The disco was replaced by my room, as it was before. Everything was normal, except for one thing. My keyboard was gone. In its place, there was a note that read:
"Thank you for choosing HyperX - Alloy Core Full-size Wired Gaming. We hope you enjoyed your experience. Please leave a positive review and recommend us to your friends. Sincerely, HyperX."
So, yeah. Best keyboard ever, but beware of the RGB lighting. It might take you to places you never imagined. Or wanted.

I bought this keyboard because I spilled a drink on my old mechanical gaming keyboard. I must say that it is quite sturdy and has some heft to it. Nice feel to the keys and the options for displaying color combinations is very good for the price! The keys are quiet and have a nice feel to them. If you are looking for the clickety-clack of some of the mechanical keyboards then this is not for you. I am a software developer and think I have found my new favorite keyboard! This is worth the price I paid for it. Unless you are wanting very advanced programmable macros and color combinations then this keyboard should be able to take care of your needs easily.

Really nice keyboard at a really nice price. The keyboard is very clean and easy to use. I appreciate the different RGB settings it has and it looks very nice on my desk. It also has a very satisfying click to the keys even though it isn't one of the super expensive mechanical keyboards. I use it for both work and gaming and it has held up very well so far! The only thing I will say is that it is quite bulky which I was expecting so not an issue for me but if you have limited space on your desk I would recommend getting one without the num pad to save space.

Excellent keyboard at a great price. I searched for wired and wireless keyboards and decided this one was the best based on price point and reviews. After a couple weeks of use I can say I’m beyond impressed with the functionality. It has quiet keys and the backlit keys look very bright. The chroma settings are very impressive too!!! I would highly recommend this keyboard.

I needed a new keyboard for the office (programming, word processing, etc. -- not gaming) and didn't want a loud mechanical keyboard, because my neighbors in the adjacent cubicles would throttle me. I picked this keyboard because it's membrane-based instead of mechanical. That said, it uses full-size key caps with excellent travel, so you get a decent tactile feel without all the noise. It also uses the traditional layout, unlike some brands where every keyboard they offer has some esoteric layout -- this was really important for my coder muscle memory. :)
There's a limited array of colors, which you can cycle through by pressing the Fn+Left and Fn+Right arrow keys. There are also two brightness levels, and an "off" if you don't want lighting. Onboard media transport and volume controls are rudimentary but get the job done.
I've had it for several months now and it's still super quiet, no squeaking or loose keycaps or anything else crazy. Good quality.
I believe this keyboard is not compatible with HyperX's customization software, so bear that in mind. It's just a simple keyboard with a little onboard lighting.
For the price, I can highly recommend this. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my home. And my cubicle neighbors seemed to like it too, judging from all the questions they kept asking. None of which were "Can you keep it down over there, machine-gun fingers?!"

Great keyboard with variable light options. Keys have a very good feel to them and unlike all other keyboards I've had, the letters won't wear off and are easy to locate if need be due to the light feature. Added plus is the keyboard is waterproof so it's easy to clean and deal with any liquid spills. I'm happy

HyperX Alloy Core Keyboard is Sick!
The HyperX Alloy Core keyboard is totally sick! It's got these awesome RGB lights that make it look so cool, especially in the dark. The keys feel super nice to press, and it's really quiet too. It's full-size, so I have all the keys I need for gaming and typing. Plus, it's super durable. If you need a new gaming keyboard, this one is the best!

This keyboard is okay. I've had it for about half a year and finally upgraded to something a bit smaller and more high end.
The keyboard is really big. I just don't have the space for it. That's more my fault than the keyboard for something to note.
The keys are not very clicky...it feels like they are floating in water. I like loud clicky keys that really hit when I press them. This is not that.
The lighting settings are pretty great and work well. There are many settings to work with.
Very easily gets dirty. The light chamber is under the keys...obviously, but a floor under the surface of the keyboard. So eyelashes, dust, and hair easily fall into the keyboard and block the light coming through. Makes it very hard to enjoy. I had to pop the keys off and clean this keyboard more times than I can count. I don't eat at my desk but I can imagine if someone does how many crumbs and stuff would need to be cleaned out...
Overall there are better keyboard but for $40 you get what you pay for. It still works after this long but I'm glad I upgraded to something nicer.

This Keyboard is perfect. it is A Fully customizable RGB LED Backlight Keyboard. Volume Keys. it has a Gaming mode , music and movies/videos media Control Center ( fast forward, pause/play and stop button. it is not a compact size it has more keys than other keyboards ( full size ) Its also affordable compared to other keyboards that do the same things, this one is in my budget and i can buy it. Its RGB Mechanical Stealthy Quiet Loud and clicky too and is not cheap compared to other materials used on keyboards. i have two of these and i love them.

I was in the market for an all around keyboard, just not gaming, but for office work too.
I love everything about it. The keys are very quiet, it has very nice RGB lighting. The price is great, and will buy another one.
For me the only negative I wish it tilted a little higher so you could see the keys a little better. The keys are concaved instead of flat which helps. It is heavy so it does not slide all around on the desk. and the rubber underneath helps with that.
I have the colors where they slowly rainbow through the keyboard. I don't need all the fancy changing of colors, the choices it has, is enough for me.
Everything works, so I am happy.

Despite its low price this is actually a really pleasant and good keyboard to use. I was pleasantly surprised. The rubber domes provide nice tactility and the full size allows it to be used for many different tasks whether it be work, gaming, browsing, etc. I like the media keys and they have proved to be useful. RGB is bright and has a handful of options to choose from. The build quality of this board is overall good, it's sturdy, but I just can't get past the low quality ABS keycaps. I didn't expect anything different for the price, but man they are easy to get messy even with clean hands. I still gave this 5 stars for price to performance. If you just want a simple, bright, good feeling keyboard then this one is for you!

I got this keyboard from my parents as a Christmas gift. It is the best keyboard I ever owned. There are nice rgb lights that you can change. If your a gamer I recommend the game mode option at the top where you change the rgb effects. Overall I think this keyboard is a great budget rgb 40$ keyboard.

This keyboard is on the cheaper side but it has so many great features. Good key feel, spacing, lights, and most importantly it has no dud keys even after a full run of undertale(IYKYK). Also its eazy to clean and the letters of the keys dont rub off after repeated use unlike most cheaper keyboards.
