Between MOBAs, & shooters, this keyboard is great! The lighting feature makes this keyboard look as awesome as it feels. The silver switches are also great!

I specifically wanted a HyperX keyboard for the slim shape and the solid feel of the material they use. Originally, I had a good deal on the HyperX FPS with blue switches. While a little hesitant of purchasing a keyboard with blue switches, I decided to try them out. As someone that plays games like Quake and Counter-Strike, it's very important that my keys activate as soon as possible. For this reason, it was difficult to be satisfied with the Cherry blue switches. They feel incredible when typing, but they can be slower than red or black switches in terms of activation speed, and this is what quickly became a problem while gaming. After around of week of testing, I returned that keyboard and got this one (HyperX FPS RGB) instead, and I don't regret it. I did pay more, but the price is well worth it if you're looking for very fast switches on a well-built keyboard. Kailh's silver switches activate even more quickly than the Cherry MX reds. This makes it ideal for games that require fast key inputs, but please do keep in mind that you will probably need to adapt to these switches for typing as they are much lighter than the majority of switches out on the market right now. If you're used to typing on blues, blacks, or anything that uses 60g+ force for activation, these will feel very "slippery" when typing. I'm finally starting to get used to them after around a week of heavy use and am able to type roughly around my usual WPM. I personally don't care about lighting on keyboards and have them off, but if you are looking for a keyboard where you have many customization options for the LEDs then I would also recommend this keyboard to you. HyperX has a driver that you can install from their website that will allow you to either choose from an assortment of premade profiles or create your own RGB-light show. It's also something fun for my young niece to play with when she comes over, so that's an added bonus for us!

Easy to set up. Color options are fun to use. All in all he loves this keyboard to game with and for the price I would reccomend it to any gamer trying to learn how to convert from controller to keyboard.

I needed a keyboard for gaming and work that had the number pad. I originally bought a tenkeyless board but did not work with some of my programs. This keyboard has been fantastic. Silent keys for the most part so it does not wake the wife up in the other room. Fast and very responsive. Colors are also great. Feels well built and has some weight to it. Overall I would buy again.

Love the overall feel of the keyboard , and the multiple options of the colored light feature.

I really love this keyboard. It feels amazing and I came from liking the heavier keys. Speed silvers are so smooth. Typing can be hard because of the small actuation required to register a key but I honestly believe it has trained me to be better and more accurate in my typing when I use other keyboards. The only problem I have with this is the space bar! There's no bar wire to support the whole bar and sometimes when you press on the edge too much it can loosen the opposite side and cause it to jam. It can get real annoying sometimes. I still like this keyboard and just worked on using my thumbs to press the center more.

This keyboard equipped with the silver keys is fantastic for fast paced games. The keys are super quick. Very little throw to engage the switch. Great for gaming but it is absolutely awful for typing. Do not buy a silver switch keyboard if you type a lot. It's marketed as a gaming keyboard, use it as such.

Honestly, I've tried so many other keyboards but this is it. It has the perfect speed for fps and gaming, yet still manageable to type on and not make any errors. Minimum actuation force needed and overall great product. Great job Kingston!

Good lighting, good size, fairly quiet for a mechanical keyboard.

This product is excellent, the only issue I had was some keys started to stick after about a year of heavy use but it still functioned very good. I had the 2 year warranty so BestBuy got me a brand new one with no problem and they shipped it directly to me. I am very impressed!

Love this keyboard, it's made of quality materials and well put together. The responsiveness of the key switches is amazing. I also really like being able to program the lights for the keyboard and being able to download others' programs. Some of the patterns are really amazing!
