But as I play games often it amazes me how long the battery last especially compared to the stealth 700 gen 2 turtle beaches I had before

I've gotten compliments on how clear i sound and how background noise is completely canceled. Even when my pug is scoring very loudly in the background. Also the most comfortable headset I've ever worn and my head is huge.

From Astro A40 to HyperX Cloud Alpha

It is also my first wireless headset, so I was a bit nervous. After putting it on, it was instantly obvious that it was a keeper. I thought I would miss the mixamp from the Astros, but I don't. If you like simplicity and quality, this is your next headset. Another plus, no more cord for a demon cat to chew on.
