I received my first pair and I thought they were defective because the sound quality on Windows sounds low. I literally have to turn my volume up to 80 -90 to hear my game. I exchanged them for the same pair to see if they were defective. I decided to give the two week period to see how I like them. The sound quality is still low for me. There is a lot of bass to them in my opinion and it can be too much because I hear a static. Even when I chat on discord with my friends I hear static as they talk. I don’t see these headset as comfortable. I think it is due to the clamping force being about 1 lb. I played a game for 3 hours straight and I have this really bad ear pain right below my ear. I believe there is a latency as well. My boyfriend and I play games together and we talk on discord I hear him outside my headphones before it comes to my headphones then he wonders why I lag in responding. Personally, I just don’t think it’s worth the price point for multiple reasons. I heard it’s just best to go with the Cloud 2 only because they are basically the same thing but apparently more comfortable and who needs 300 hours. You’re basically paying $100 more for 300 hour battery.

Hyper X Cloud Alpha wireless review

I really recommend anyone looking for a headset to try this one out you’ll love it. Will make a really good gift also.
