After installing the software for the headset my audio starting cutting off in between apps. I deleted the software and everything and reinstalled the headset only and the audio was still cutting off. I looked up online and many other people had the same issues with this headset after installing the hyperx ingenuity app

They really do last as long as they claim. I can use them for 3-4 days straight and it'll still be in the 90%-100% range. The mic's great too, my friends had no trouble hearing me through it.

So far so good, Have had the headset for around a month, I have charged it once since. You get what you pay for. Great sound, can barely here my nagging girlfriend telling me to get off my games.

Likely the best headset I’ve ever had

Ive had the steelseries 9s, most turtle beach headphones and many more overpriced headphones for xbox/PC. I bought these to use strictly for PC and they way outperform my 300+ dollar steeseries. The bass is ridiculous. Mids and highs are crisp and clean. The mic has great sound quality. Bluetooth has a strong connection that can reach across multiple rooms. Mic disconnects so these can be used anywhere. I charge these maybe every 4-5 days because the battery lasts so long. Couldnt say enough good things about these headphones. I use them for gaming and even for my music studio when im not mixing. Definitely worth the price. I recommend them to all of my friends.

    NOT WORTH $200

As someone who has been playing games online with friends for about 10 years now i have gone through more headsets than I would like to admit or that i can even remember (mostly due to not properly taking care of them or being unlucky). Around 5 years ago i got my first pair of hyper x headphones ( Cloud II wired ) and they were probably my favorite pair i have ever owned…. Until my dog broke them:( fast forward to present day and 3 or 4 more mics and i had a mic that worked fine and did everything I needed it too but i was ready for an upgrade. I did quite a bit of research on mics below $300 and remembered how much i loved those Hyperx headphones from the past and decided to go get a better pair (hyper x cloud alpha). The main things i wanted form this headset was better audio, comfort, battery life, and a mic that doesn’t pick up as much background audio but sadly it only did half that. Audio is a big factor to me especially because I play games were audio is important like rainbow six siege and these have good sound quality but are just far too quiet, I’m not sure if my old pair were far too loud but either way I would them louder. My other issue is the mic which at first I had no problems with but for almost the last 2 months it has been cutting out and even disconnecting rarely. This a problem I’ve only experienced with $20 - $50 headsets and it is highly aggravating that a $200 mic from a company as good/popular as this one is even having this issue. I plan on updating them and or returning them for the same pair to see if it makes a difference but sadly if neither of those solutions work I sadly will not be coming back to Hyperx for any headphones.

Found out the hard way you can’t use this headset with the Xbox Series X, because the wireless system doesn’t work on the series X for reason. just wasted money on a good headset whenever I can’t use it for my console lol. Don’t get this headset if you have the Xbox Series X/S

Very nice headphones. Just minor things I’m not 100% on. I use to have the wired ones and they were great just the ear padding starting going bad, so I thought why not upgrade. I love how long the life is before a recharge. Only minor things is the mic has to be super close for people to hear and the padding isn’t as comfortable for long amounts of time. Like I can start feeling pressure around my ears where I’m adjusting them in a few hours. My old ones I went 24 hrs no problem

Coming from the Hyper X cloud flight S or cloud II, this head set does have amazing batter life, deeper bass, and a tight squeeze (that i think improves the fir) But the earphone padding is pathetic, less then half the thickness the the Cloud II/S. After only a couple of hours of gaming your ears will begin to hurt from the lack of clearance between your ear and the speaker. Honestly unless you already have the cloud II or the flight don't buy this headset. I would recommend buy the Cloud II or flight. If already have a pair and want a upgrade the Flight and cloud II ear pads can be swapped out with the alphas earpads! If the Alpha came with the old ear padding it would be a 5/5
