I'm a huge fan of HyperX. All their products that I've used have been top notch quality. My first pair of headphones from them were HyperX Cloud Revolver S, and those lasted me for many years. They were extremely durable. I use headphones at-least 3 hours every day, and they took up the beating of daily use without any problem. The only reason I replaced them was because the headband was falling apart. But this was not an issue that affected sound quality. I don't know if quality control has plummeted recently, or if it is different for this product, but this is my second pair of HyperX Cloud II Pro's that I've ordered in the past year. My first pair lasted only two months before a short appeared at the base of the cable. Sadly, I was outside of my return window for BB. I didn't want to buy a new pair either, as 100 for headphones is expensive! However, after a few weeks of hearing nothing but garble at the slightest movement of the jack, I couldn't take it any more. I bought a second headset (this exact same one) on March 30th. And at first sound was fine. But after a few weeks the same problem occurred. A massive short started near the base. And this was only after a month of purchasing this! I know that 3+ hours of use daily can wear down headphones. But my HyperX Cloud Revolver S lasted for many years under these same conditions. Why does this headset, at near the same price, break after a month? I've never dropped these headsets, no scratches, cracking, or even cable fraying. Dumped 200 dollars on two of these headsets that only lasted me a month or two before shorting out. I wouldn't mind if these cables were removable, but they are not. Literally worthless now! I don't know if I was unlucky with a defective batch. But I heavily do not recommend these headphones to those that demand rigidity and longevity for their gaming headsets.

This is the best gaming headset. I've used it for gaming ,movies, tv shows and music. Ive used the Cloud 2's for about 2 years.

Swapped over from A10. Yes theres a 50 dollar difference, but if you play games, it's a great investment. They are light and comfy.

Very comfortable, as someone with glasses it can be hard to find a good headset that won't give me a headache. I would prefer a mic sidetone so I could hear myself but that isn't a necessity. Overall it's good quality, sound is nice, works good for things like CoD.

The 7.1 simulated surround sound is great. The mic is ok, but listening to music and playing games makes the headphones great.

These were a Christmas present for my son. He really likes the way they fit. He is still getting used to using them but is really happy with them right now.

Quality is great although there should be advertising on the box stating the additional cable used to control volumes does not work on consoles.

Better sound than any of the more recent versions (like the Alpha, Alpha S). Using them on PS4 Pro.
