Comfy and surround sound is amazing and very stylish

This purchase Exceeded my expectations. Even tho the headphones came out about 5 years ago they’re still pretty amazing product. Highly recommend this

Works great. Good value. Priced less than other stores.

After 3 trips to the store, I ended up with this headset. The inline volume control for headset and mic is great! The surround sound is superb and I hear sounds all around me. Must buy if you want to up your game.

Over the past 2 years, my son has been thru probably 6 different pairs of headphones. So far the Hyper X Cloud 2s are holding there own but time will tell. As far as Best Buy goes, There employees are Top Notch as always.

Great headphones for gaming the surround sound is amazing one downside is 3 months of light use and a piece of plastic just snapped off.

They look great a first and sound good but the box was misleading on what the headphones were compatible with,such as the usb audio enhancer and volume controls.Aside from that the quality was great ;]

Reposting this review because it somehow got taken down. There are several issues that I have with this headset that, in my opinion, make it very inferior to other headsets on the market. I’ll start with the biggest issue which is the sound quality. If I had to compare it to another headset, I would compare it to a headset that cost roughly half as much from about 10 years ago before I would compare it to one of its competitors. As an example, it’s a little bit better than a razer kraken pro headset that I bought for $40 in 2014, which isn’t saying much since that razer headset is the worst one I’ve ever owned and was basically unusable. As far as the hyperx headset goes for sound quality, the bass is very weak and both the bass and treble are overshadowed by the mid range sound which makes everything sound very monotone and flat. In addition, the headset is advertised as being surround sound capable, but using windows sonic for headphones yields terrible results and I would say that to call these headphones surround sound capable is a complete lie. Overall, the sound quality is terrible. My next complaint is also the best thing about this headset, which is the microphone. Overall the microphone is decent, but it tends to pick up background noise a little too often, which isn’t a huge deal but I thought it was worth mentioning. Another complaint I have is the overall build quality. I have no way of proving it, but based on how the materials feel it really seems like they made this headset with the cheapest materials possible and put some metal around the earcups to give it the illusion of being high quality. I have never experienced a headset that is as flimsy as this one. Also, the band adjustment doesn’t like to stay in place which is just really annoying. Another thing is that there isn’t a switch or button anywhere on the headset itself to mute the mic which I think is ridiculous. Where the lack of quality is most evident, however, is in the accessories included with the headset. It comes with 2 felt ear cushions and a usb dongle/extension cord for use with PC. The felt ear cushions are very itchy and uncomfortable and it’s clear that they’re only included for marketing reasons, so that they can say it comes with different types of ear cushions, and they are not intended to actually be used. The USB dongle includes buttons for changing volume and a mic switch (which is the only way the mic can be muted) and I’m not exaggerating in the slightest when I say that it feels like a very cheap plastic toy. Each of the 5 buttons takes a different amount of force to press and makes a different sound. My final complaint is not about the headset, but rather with the company itself. Hyperx as a brand is terrible for 2 big reasons. First, they dump tons of money into advertising for their awful products and pay streamers and esports professionals to briefly use their products as well as do brand deals for the company. There’s a reason why the only people that you see using their products are either new streamers who would be smart to accept any brand deal and bigger streamers who are known to be sellouts. Their whole ad campaign is meant to market their products as being “good for gaming” but the products themselves have literally zero features that make them fit this description. This type of thing is very common lately and is by every definition a literal scam. My next complaint of the company is how they handle criticism of their products. They have a lot of customer service representatives that reply to people’s reviews and basically try to invalidate the criticism by asking irrelevant questions. This is done to make the company seem like it cares about people’s complaints but in reality if they really cared they would use the criticism to improve their products instead of just responding to it and making it seem like they care about what people have to say when they very clearly do not. If someone from Hyperx is reading this, I suggest that you put more money into improving the products you sell instead of advertising.

I honestly love these things they have amazing audio and the soundcard in the cord is a nice bonus one bummer is the mic doesn't seem to be as sensitive as a few headsets I've owned but perhaps if I bought a dac I could improve this no more worrying if your soundcard is broken or supports 7.1 surround sound

Love this brand. Have had many from this brand over the years. They last for over a year for me. But I use mine for everything all day and nite.

Pretty good headset, but the mic cushion fell off rather quickly and doesn't stay on.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 14 year old son. According to him the "headset is awesome, and the sound quality is so clear I feel like they are in the same room as me."

Amazing sound quality and very comfortable! Well worth the price!!
