Audio is fantastic, I purchased this to replace my defective hyper x cloud pro headset that had a bad mic, unfortunately out of the box the microphone has connection issues.

I did not really expect much for these headsets. Although I was mistaken. The quality of these headphones have exceeded my expectations.

I bought these because they kept coming up as a top gaming headset. At first they seemed really good. The dongle to control sound and mic is pretty nice. HOWEVER! That's a big however. Every time I unplug them to move or adjust my pc set up the mic will stop working when I plug the headset back in. (yes the pc is off when I do this.) I have never had a headset have the most stupid and inconstant ways of fixing this issue. All drivers are updated and still wont work. Go and disable the device in sound manger and re-enable it. This has worked once. Make sure nothing is muted. Not that stupid thank you! Ignore the mic. Hey! That worked. Now its not working. I have done everything possible and not 1 thing is a consistent fix. Kingston you need to do more r+d before you send this stuff out. Never had this issue with any other headset that is comparable. Feels bad man!

My friend has owned this headset for a few years now and works great, so I figured I would upgrade to it. I got mine about a month ago and it has not been a great experience. I have been getting constant static and there are times where they just stop working and they won't work until I restart my computer. I figured I must have gotten a defective headset so I purchased another one. This time, the static didn't happen at first. But as the days went on, it kept getting louder and more consistent to the point where I couldn't hear myself think. I tried every troubleshooting method I can find on the internet to no avail. I even tried plugging them into different devices and the static persisted. The odds of 2 headsets being defective back to back is pretty low. I want to like this product since I've seen so many good reviews from friends and on the internet in the past few years, but the quality has just fallen off and its not worth the hassle. Definitely do not recommend.
