The sound quality is excellent and the 7.1 sorround is very high quality. The headset is very durable.

Great headset. Previously owned a Razer Chroma. Cloud II is much more balanced (sound) and conformable.

The 7.1 surround sounds amazing and they are super comfy for all day gaming. The best for the price.

I've probably gone through 5 or 6 headsets, which usually get worn down and break within a year, or are only compatible with either my PC or my XBOX, but this headset not only works with both, it has fantastic sound quality and the mic is very sensitive to your voice while limiting background noise. My only complaint is that there is no way to mute the mic is your using it with your xbox/playstation since the mute button is on the pc side of the attachment.

I bought this headset because my Turtle Beaches were giving up on me. The minute I jumped into Discord with my friends, they automatically noticed a difference, and complimented how well I sounded. Once in game, the headset allowed me to hear every footstep and movement around me. Couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. Would recommend these to anyone who'll listen.

I and my wife have both owned the HyperX Cloud II Pro Wired Gaming Headset for over 4 years. My set was getting worn out (but still worked fine) so I purchased another last month. I started using them and immediately noticed the sound quality of my old set was far better than the new set. I tried them back to back several times and it seemed like the new pair had no midrange. I even tried the headset using my old audio control box and the one that came with the new headset but it didn't make a difference. Thinking I had gotten a lemon, I exchanged them for another pair but got the same results. I am so disappointed because I love the comfort and sound of my original set. It appears that HyperX is no longer a Kingston brand is now owned by HP. The only visual difference between our 4 year old sets and the new one is that the audio control box on the cord is slightly different (smaller/thinner and and feels a little cheaper). I'm not sure if HP changed the speakers that are being used in the headset or changed something in the audio control box (or both?) but it was a big mistake as they definitely don't sound as good. I used to recommend this headset to friends but can no longer do so. Pros: Super comfy, Well built and not cheap feeling. Good microphone. Cons: Sound is average at best. Not the same good sound that they used to have so take any review older than a year with a grain of salt.

It’s been about 2 months or so since i got them and they are easily my favorite headsets that ive owned. Very comfortable, after long usage it doesnt have any discomfort around the ears or anything. Definitely recommend

I previously had the PlayStation Gold headphones. They were ok but the build quality was not good. Started tearing up in less than 2 months. Only thing that isn't better on the hyperX cloud II is they're corded. I can live with that trade off. They are better in every other way ! Especially build quality ! Tough as nails and sound awesome to me. Best in the price range I think. Would recommend to anyone.
