Good But Not Great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love these. However, they are good, but not great. They don't have the most solid feel to them. They have a cheaper plastic feel to them. I used these for, gaming, music and for everyday phone calls for work. The sound quality is mediocre. Does not have a deep bass to it. In my opinion, the sound quality could be much better. Battery life is definitely better than I expected. I do like the removable microphone. As far as comfort, they do fit snugly, however, after extended wear, they do get hot against my yearsand I had to take them on and off. You definitely need to play with the volume and equalizer settings out of the box. The sound quality is less than desirable, so that is a personal decision and setting that you must say, play with so it meets your expectations. I have owned multiple headsets, and I would absolutely categorize these as mid, two upper lower end range. For the price point, these are a good deal. And for that, I would recommend these for purchase.

They're fine...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually preface my headphone reviews with the fact that I'm not a huge audiophile so I'm not going to be the one that picks up on every tiny thing. I know when I think something sounds good. These headphones kept me sort of wanting. Setup is simple. Plug in the USB dongle and power on the headphones. There's a nice voice that lets you know what's happening (like when they're connected and what to). That's really all there is to it. There's an app you can download if you're on a PC that lets you tweak a couple of settings but there are limited instructions included and I had to specifically search for an app because the controls on the actual headphones are fairly minimal. Build quality is pretty decent. They're a good weight and feel nice to wear without a lot of fatigue from the weight. The cups aren't very permeable so I felt my where they wrapped around my ears getting a little sweaty after some time. Nothing crazy but worth mentioning. I found them mostly comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time. I'd probably take a break at that point. Sound is just.. fine. They didn't blow me away with whatever I was listening to. They don't sound bad. But I've definitely used better sounding gaming headphones before. I didn't feel a ton of bass at all. The microphone is detachable which is always nice for when you don't need it. One of the features available in the app you have to search for is the sidetone volume which I always prefer to have on. The microphone is passable. It sounds good enough for a headset. One downside for me (personally) is a lack of a 3.5mm jack for using the headphones passively. I stream and record videos and have a very nice microphone but the way my audio is routed, I need 3.5mm wired headphones in order not hear a delay in my headset while I'm talking. This is a pretty niche concern and it seems like a lot of modern headphones are also doing away with the 3.5mm headphone jack so it probably doesn't matter much to you. Controls available on the headphones are pretty minimal. There's a power button (which feels like it needs to be pressed way too long before turning on) and a mute button on one cup. Then a volume spinner and a utility button on the other. Along with a switch to switch from 2.4Ghz to Bluetooth. The utility button acts like a play/pause button on my PC. Overall, these headphones feels pretty nice to wear. They feel like they're made to be a premium headset. But the sound they produce just feels underwhelming. I'm not sure if it's "angled 53mm drivers" they advertise on the box, or just ok quality drivers. They don't sound bad, but I feel like you could do better at this price range. See for yourself if you're in the market at this price range. If you can try out a couple pair somewhere, you be the judge.

Get them

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good quality, sound is amazing. But, they only swivel vertically, but thats just a nit pick, bluetooth distance is very impressive. Good for gaming and surprisingly good for music as well.

HyperX Cloud 3 S Wireless
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing really special that stands out. Audio is meh, sure you can hear everything but the sound quality is soft, weak, no bass, no oomph. Just sound with no real muscle. It’s pricey for no unique features. You’re paying for the brand mostly. Copy and paste feature with slight slight improvements.
