Hyper X headphones

Disappointing product, disappointing service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these on and immediately knew that the sound quality was very poor. I have tried $29.99 headphones that legitimately sound better. Disappointing coming from HyperX. Unfortunately, I tried to return an hour after purchase, but Best Buy refused to accept a return stating that the product looked heavily used and "disgusting" (tested them for a couple minutes and were still in perfect condition). Very poor/rude customer service, maybe they have a policy of trying to refuse returns. I will make a point of not shopping with Best Buy anymore.

Awful Crosstalk from Microphone

The microphone picks up the audio from the headphones and sends it back through the mic. Very annoying for in game chat and I tried many fixes with no relief. (This is a somewhat common issue with wired headsets that share a common ground for mic and speakers. Lots of the HyperX Alphas had this issue before, hoped they would have fixed it by now.) Perhaps just got a bad set but not going to bother with HyperX support, just going with another brand.
