⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn’t expecting much at first, but this headset ended up being way better than I thought. The sound is super clear—footsteps, gunshots, everything comes through sharp, and the bass hits without being muddy. The mic is clean too; my friends said I sound way clearer than with my old headset. It’s comfortable for long sessions, the padding doesn’t get annoying, and it feels lightweight without feeling cheap. Battery life is solid and it connects to the PS5 with zero issues. No random disconnects or crackling. Overall, just a really good headset for the price. Great sound, great mic, and actually comfortable. Easy 5/5.

Very good quality headset, worth its price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this headset for roughly a month at the time of this writing, and it's been a fantastic headset so far. I got it when it was on sale and I was in dire need of a new headset, but I'd say it's worth the base price regardless. The quality of the microphone is clear and crisp by default. I had to adjust the volume to be a little higher than the default 100%, as my Discord friends said I was a bit quiet, but it's not an issue. The sound quality of the headset itself is very nice. I didn't have to adjust the tones or anything, but that's my personal preference. There is a volume slider for the headset volume as well as a mute button for the microphone. The only complaint I have is that when I mute in a call, a small crackle can be heard when muting (for other people and myself), but it's not an issue Very comfortable on my head. The length can be adjusted to your liking, which is helpful. It does look a little small compared to other headsets, but again, it is able to extend to whatever you need. The cord is covered by a cloth material, so it's less susceptible to curling itself up like other wires. Overall, I recommend this headset if you're not looking to spend a whole lot of money on a new one. It's worth its base price, but is also a steal when it goes on sale.

Would buy again…
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent quality and sound. Really like the flexible mike - wish it could be put on either side but not a huge deal. Definitely recommend. Comfortable and like the accessibility of volume and mute buttons.

Good but not great headset.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphones in order to have a decent mid range headset. Overall good headset. Excellent mic. Sound stage is acceptable for closed back design. Plugging in via AUX cable leaves it a little wanting in volume and detail but still usable. Using the USB DAC and installing HyperX's Ngenuity software made a huge difference in quality and options. I found that in certain songs and games sound would get distorted. (edm genre or games with explosions). Unsure if this is the headset itself or the software or hardware. I ended up buying the Sound Blaster G6 and it can about handle anything that wonderful device can dish out. Fairly comfortable even with glasses but I feel like my ears got warm after an hour or 2. If you're looking for slightly better soundstage and not worried about crystal clear mic quality go for the Hyper X cloud alpha for $10 more.

Comfortable, Clear, and Adjustible
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had just gotten this headset today via online order and I'm really happy with them. ONLY beef I have is that it's not bluetooth, which is what I wanted, but it's able to hook up to my ipad which I like. The adaptor for mobil phone is also the newer version, and I have an Iphone 12 so I'll need to get an adapter of my own, but other than I haven't had any issues. The microphone is crisp and clear, which my friends appreciate when we talk. The headset is also very adjustable and sits well on your head, and so far extremely comfortable. Barely even notice it after a while. I will be ordering a similar version for my father for the PC

Awesome headset!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked these up on sale because my daughter said it would improve game play (game: Valorant). She was right! These not only make the game more immersive and fun but give great tactical advantage. Because of the 3D way sound comes through in this headset it is very easy to tell when someone is sneaking up on you and from where. I would definitely recommend these for any gamer (would make a great gift!). Plus they are comfortable for hours, even with my glasses on!

Great headset from Best buy!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this headset. The adjustable microphone works great, the soft padded noise cancelling for the ears and cushioned adjustable headband. I have had a lot of headsets and all have broken except this one. I should have bought the other's at Best Buy.

Hyper X Cloud 3's vs 2's
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hyper x cloud 3's have better sound isolation than the 2's but are not as comfortable. The mix is also less bass heavy which I'm not sure I like. Overall the hyper x cloud 2's are better.

Comfortable and Quality headset with Compatibility
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HyperX has always been a great choice for gaming on a budget, while not cutting corners on comfort or quality. HyperX Cloud III wired gaming headset is a great choice for a multi-platform headset solution, working with most consoles or mobile devices and PC via the included USB adapter. I picked this up to use with the xbox console but will also be able to plug it into my mobile game systems for comfort and quality sound on the go! Pros: - Comfortable fit, with adjustable ear cup placement. - Multi-platform Compatibility. - Volume dial and mute button on back of earphone! Cons: - Pleather material on ear cups. - Sound is great for gaming, but not amazing for movies or music. The HyperX Cloud III is a simple plug-and-play headset, with no software needed or fussing around with settings to get going. Included in the box is the headset, detachable microphone, 3.5mm Audio Jack to USB-C cable, and USB-C to USB-A dongle. The only major downside right out of the box is the choice of material for the ear cups, a “premium leatherette” as listed in the materials, otherwise known as pleather. I would have preferred a mesh or fabric material, that would be easier to wash and wear better, as usually the pleather starts to peal off after enough years of use. The ear cups are super comfortable, soft, and not too warm while wearing over longer gaming sessions. Just a personnel preference, but that can always be replaced with a third-party ear cup so no loss to overall points in my book. The HyperX Cloud III has moved the mute and volume controls to the back of the earphones, where prior versions had these controls limited to inline for USB connections only, leaving the Mobile, Switch, and Xbox users having to manage sound via third-party or software options only. This makes adjusting the volume or muting much easier for all users! An easy press of the button will mute the microphone and turn on a red mute indicator light on the mic boom to indicate the mute is on. Great quality of life improvements over the prior version. The game and chat audio are clear and crisp, helping to easily hear those footsteps creeping up behind you. But there is a clear lacking of Bass when listing to movies or music. It’s completely possible that using the DTS Headphone:X Spatial Audio would help, but I wanted to avoid having to use another app or tool. Honestly, it is a very minor concern to me, but worth mentioning if you were considering the Cloud III as a primary headset for listening to more than games, you might need to adjust the settings to your desired sound preferences through the DTS Sound Unbound app. Overall, the HyperX Cloud series has always been a great go to for console gamers, and the series III is no exception. I will be recommending the HyperX Cloud III for those looking for a quality gaming headset that will work for multiple gaming platforms. If you’re looking for something for more all-around audio use, I would take into consideration how important audio quality is for your use. I'm very happy with the quality and compatibility of the HyperX Cloud III gaming headset.

Solid Headphones with Little Cons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been daily driving these headphones for the past year. They're extremely comfortable, sound great (especially with something like DTS X and Dolby Atmos), and has great build quality. Mic is very decent, but I only use it when playing on my Xbox (as I have a dedicated mic for PC). The cable they use feels great; braided with a removable 3.5mm to USB-A adapter. Cable length is great, both with and without the adapter. However, I did swap out the ear cups a few months ago for third-party cooling ones as the OEM ear cups can keep in just enough heat to be uncomfortable. I do wish the cable can be taken out of the headset, both for repair-ability and for transportation/storage.

One of The Best At The Price Point
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.COMFORT: These are extremely comfortable. I'm able to wear them for a long time without any issues, with or without glasses. Most of the time I forget they were on my head. Earcup size should be big enough for anyone. Earcup depth is moderate, it is angled, making it so the larger part of your ear has more room than the thinner part of your ear. With a good amount of padding before you hit the plastic exterior. The plush cushions are great. Also, replaceable if needed. Overall, no complaints here. SOUND: I break my headsets into four main categories. 1. Gaming Immersion (such as single player games), 2. Competitive gaming (directional audio, footsteps, other competitive focused sounds), 3. Media (how good is normal media - YouTube and movies on it. 4. Music. I find it does a good job at 1 - 3. Acceptable for 4. Overall, the sound is good/great where I think the mass majority of people (especially at this price point) will like them a lot. Bass is good, sub bass is lacking, mids are neutral, highs are crisp but can be fatiguing and where most of the "flavor" is. Soundstage is very small (my biggest negative of the sound). Directional quality is excellent. Great imaging where I can pull apart multiple sounds with focus. 1. I'm able to get immersed in games. As bass, treble, and locational data is good. 2. Fantastic directional quality. Countless times I heard someone, turned, and there they were exactly. However, with soundstage being small they often snuck up on me as I didn't hear them until they were practically on top of me. Gun sounds are crisp and realistic sounding. While still giving me a competitive edge. What I would classify this headset to be mainly. But strikes a good balance between not being too competitive that all the other sounds suffer. 3. I was able to easily hear dialogue, even at 2x speed (which is what I watch most of my stuff at). Movies are good too. But with the way these are tuned aren't getting the best sound as sometimes bass or treble were too loud and overbearing. But in general, no complaints. 4. Preformed the worst with this. It'll work. And for the most part be fine. I classify it as good enough that it turns music into background noise. However, if you're trying to get an emotional experience these don't provide the right tuning for that. Most of my testing was straight 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm. without the 3.5 mm to USB-C adapter. Which also has a USB-C to USB-A adapter (which also works great for other stuff). Appreciate the versatility here. SOFTWARE: Simple, to the point, barebones, works great. Gives you Headset volume, microphone volume, mic monitoring, DTS spatial sound toggle, Presets, and 10 band EQ. No sign in needed. MICROPHONE: Is removable, plugs in nicely. Has a big tip, incredibly flexible (and stays in place), When muted there is a red LED that is near the tip that isn't really in the field of vision, but is just enough that it can remind you that you are muted. That button is very crisp and satisfying and easy to find. I didn't find a significant "pop" when muting or unmuting. But did see it on the audio graph. Again, this was tested straight 3.5mm to 3.5mm. I found my voice to sound great. It picked up the nuances of my different voices just fine and sounded essentially like I do in person. Maybe a bit flatter, with an ever so slight (and I mean slight) headset/treble tuning to it with a lack of bass. The rejection of other sounds (such as my Razer Green Switches which are LOUD) were unable to be heard. I'd easily use this without any hesitation for gaming and talking to friends (which I almost never say). It MAY even be good enough to be seen as acceptable for voice over work (non-professional but just like on YouTube or something). RANDOM PROS/CONS: I wish the cable itself was removeable. But like that it is braided and malleable. However, there is a mild/moderate amount of cable noise in the left earcup when moving/messing with it. Volume wheel on right earcup is 10/10. Has min/max. Easy to adjust in very small increments. Is separate from computer/console sound. Which I like as I can crank the console/PC sound and then fine tune depending on what I'm listening to on my headset. Absolutely brilliant. Closed back. Which means it will muffle/reduce the sound around you. Personally, I like that a lot. But if you want to know what is happening in your room then these would not be a good choice. Don't block all sounds but does reduce them. I like that you can use them with just 3.5 mm, 3.5 mm to USB-C, or 3.5 mm to USB-C to USB-C to USB-A adapter (which works great for other things as well for a double win). Which makes them useable on every device you can think of, outside of those that require Bluetooth only as this is a wired only headset.
