Let's just say the Cloud ll is far superior to these in just about every single aspect. I would recommend another Hyper X headset over these if you want to go wired.

Since when do people talk out of their cheek?

Great sounding headphones, unfortunately, the mic is short and only reaches the side of your cheek rather than in front of your mouth, making you sound muffled. I don't understand why half these mics are long enough to reach in front of your mouth and the other half reach the side of your cheek. I guess people talk out the side of their cheek rather than their mouth. Oh well, I will be returning these. First letdown from a HyperX product.

The headphones seem to be well made. I did not like the sound quality. Since I use them all day, I need the sound quality to be crisp and clean. I ended up returning them.

Cheap connection going from Aux -> USBC -> USB causes microphone issues with my top of the line setup. All drivers etc up to date and still having issues. What a waste of money.

It’s honestly not the best, my other head set was way better and I bought that one 2 years ago, still okay. But the microphone isn’t the greatest.

Had this less than a year and the microphone does not work. Have tried everything. Huge waste of money. Speakers work. But no microphone. Went in Ngenuity app and my PC. Made sure everything was working. Re updated drivers. Tried everything. Simply won't work. Extreme let down.

This headset isn't bad. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, the microphone quality is good, and the options to connect it over USB-A, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio cable are pretty good. The part that goes over the head is soft enough that it avoids that irritating feeling against my scalp when I've worn it for a long time. The cups are comfortable and don't squish my ears, and the headset itself is secure against my head without being a clamp. However, the software side is a little lacking. The drivers failed to install once or twice, and when using the USB audio adapter to get the DTS:X audio, I'll sometimes hear terrible drops in audio quality and lots of crackling. This has happened on two computers I've used the USB audio on. It seems to happen most often when on voice chat, so if you're just planning on using the headphones as headphones you should be fine. You may have issues if you also use the microphone. That being said, they're still decent. They don't feel cheap and the sound quality is pretty good. It's just the voice chat I've really had issues with, and since I don't really use VC that much I'm willing to tolerate it. I'd recommend them, but that is an issue to be aware of.

Terrible audio quality, there’s no bass, it sounds like a phone speaker. Every sound sounds like its coming from in front of you. Buy the first HyperX Cloud, it sounds way better, is more comfortable, and is half the price.

HyperX Cloud III are great headphones with a long mic for gaming. Nice and soft padding long the headband, it’s extremely comfortable to have on for long periods of time. Wire is long enough to use on any gaming devices with a headphone jack. Works with PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox X|S, and mobile devices. In the box is a quick start guide to easily get started and an accessory box with all the cords to connect to the headphones. Headband foam feels nice with a metal durable frame and feels like it can be stretched out. Moving my head around didn’t make the HyperX Cloud III move around much. Red and black goes rest with any gaming setup. These gaming headphones sounds nice but volume is a bit low. Other teammates can hear me clear though the microphone while talking. I enjoyed using them on the PS5 most of the time and they were good using it on media such as movies and streaming music. Comes with 2 year warranty and firmware updates for longevity. Overall; they are nice headphones to use for gaming and sounds good if you want a full rich sounding experience. I do recommend.

I recently added another headset to my gaming setup with the HyperX Cloud 3 Gaming Headphones and I have been impressed thus far. Spending so much time at my work/gaming station, I look specifically for comfort, performance, usability, adaptive compatibility with a little bit of style, and these headphones deliver on all fronts. The HyperX Cloud 3 headphones provide a surprising level of comfort. The memory foam ear cushions and adjustable head band gently cradle my head and ears with no undue pressure. The ear cushions completely cover my ears eliminating any discomfort or fatigue. Even after hours of wear, I am still comfortable and not overwhelmed by warmth like from other headphones that I use. The adjustable headband ensures a perfect fit, and I hardly notice I'm wearing them. The sound quality of the HyperX Cloud 3 headphones is where they truly shine. They come with 53mm drivers that deliver rich and immersive audio. They have the perfect balance between highs, mids, and lows allowing me to hear every detail with impressive clarity. The detachable mic is very flexible and sits at the perfect distance to be both out of the way and too far to be heard. Included is the built-in mute button and indicator which is a small yet incredibly useful feature. The red LED light on the detachable microphone is a clear and intuitive visual cue that lets me know when I'm muted. It's perfect for those moments when I need to communicate with people in the house (my kids and wife looking for attention) and in game teammates or video calls. I can quickly glance to make sure I'm not accidentally muted or not muted. This attention to detail makes for a life saver for those intense or stressful outbursts not wanting to be heard through the mic. These headphones are built with durability in mind. The braided cord and metal frame are a testament to durability and ensure longevity from the constant storing and usage. The braided cord is very long with a 3.5mm attachment placed about halfway allowing for free movement and quick detachment if I want to transition from pc to console in a snap. It is accompanied by a USB dongle and a USB-C to USB-A adapter allowing for cross platform compatibility. The USB dongle effortlessly harnesses the potential of the headphones' spatial audio capabilities, turning your gaming space into an auditory playground. These headphones are a true masterpiece in terms of aesthetics. The sleek and modern design is very stylish with black matte and red brushed aluminum finish and subtle HyperX branding. The attention to detail is evident, and I love the combination of form and function that the HyperX Cloud 3 headphones bring to the table. In conclusion, the HyperX Cloud 3 Gaming Headphones have added a new level of comfort and pleasure to my gaming and work. With their remarkable comfort, stylish design, innovative mute indicator, and impeccable sound quality, these headphones have earned a permanent place on my gaming desk.

    Surround sound scam

I have had hyper x cloud 2's with the 7.1 surround sound for years. It's the best headset I've ever bought, but they're worn out now and I'm having some cable issues. So I bought these to replace them. As it turns out the surround sound they market on the Cloud 3s does not work. if it does do something in a game it isn't accurate and usually it just makes everything sound worse than when it is off.
