One of the worst sounding headsets zero base downloaded their app to adjust settings didn't help downloaded an EQ just made it sound worse for having 53mm drivers it sounds like all it has it mid and high (legendary sound) yeah legendarly bad sound my god my son has the $30 version of these and they sound better

Never had problems with hyperx but this ones chord went bad in a little over a month of use

Had it for 1 week and audio output disappeared, not a pc issue.

This headset isn't bad. It's lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, the microphone quality is good, and the options to connect it over USB-A, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio cable are pretty good. The part that goes over the head is soft enough that it avoids that irritating feeling against my scalp when I've worn it for a long time. The cups are comfortable and don't squish my ears, and the headset itself is secure against my head without being a clamp. However, the software side is a little lacking. The drivers failed to install once or twice, and when using the USB audio adapter to get the DTS:X audio, I'll sometimes hear terrible drops in audio quality and lots of crackling. This has happened on two computers I've used the USB audio on. It seems to happen most often when on voice chat, so if you're just planning on using the headphones as headphones you should be fine. You may have issues if you also use the microphone. That being said, they're still decent. They don't feel cheap and the sound quality is pretty good. It's just the voice chat I've really had issues with, and since I don't really use VC that much I'm willing to tolerate it. I'd recommend them, but that is an issue to be aware of.

HyperX Cloud III are great headphones with a long mic for gaming. Nice and soft padding long the headband, it’s extremely comfortable to have on for long periods of time. Wire is long enough to use on any gaming devices with a headphone jack. Works with PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox X|S, and mobile devices. In the box is a quick start guide to easily get started and an accessory box with all the cords to connect to the headphones. Headband foam feels nice with a metal durable frame and feels like it can be stretched out. Moving my head around didn’t make the HyperX Cloud III move around much. Red and black goes rest with any gaming setup. These gaming headphones sounds nice but volume is a bit low. Other teammates can hear me clear though the microphone while talking. I enjoyed using them on the PS5 most of the time and they were good using it on media such as movies and streaming music. Comes with 2 year warranty and firmware updates for longevity. Overall; they are nice headphones to use for gaming and sounds good if you want a full rich sounding experience. I do recommend.

Second pair still having Mic issues will be returning and buying a different brand...

They dont have bluetooth and they are not the best noise canceling

I'm not an audiophile so I apologize for any specific details you may be looking for. From personal experience so far I can say I'm quite happy with it! At first I was a little confused because I plugged in the aux cable into the PC and it didn't sound super great at first. I used the USB dongle that comes with it, and adjusted some sound settings using my PCs Sonic Suite Companion software and found a sweet spot where these things shine a bit brighter. The volume can reach quite high so be careful. The bass out of the box wasn't really impressive but improved a lot using other software. Again, I'm not an expert so I truly have no idea if it was something with my PC to begin with or if it just takes a little tuning to get these things to showcase their real potential. The quality of the build is strong and durable and I can see these lasting a really long time. Looks like the earpads are replaceable, and it looks like the headband is not if it starts to get worn down a bit. Haven't tested the external mic myself so I can't speak on that.

I had the Cloud II headset years ago and it was always a solid performer. The removeable mic was handy if it ever broke, it could easily be replaced. This Cloud III headset feels a lot like the last model, but with key improvements. Comfort is perfect and long-lasting as is expected from any Cloud headset. The new mic seems to have much better sound quality than before. I have used it for gaming, as well as work conference calls and everyone was able to hear me clearly. The mic is still removeable, which is a nice touch if it ever needs to be replaced. The 1/8" plug is a tad short, but the inclusion of a USB extender cable is a great feature. It can quickly and easily be plugged into any computer with a USB-A port, and it uses plug and play audio drivers. It does not require any special software to be installed. I plugged it into my gaming PC, and it just worked. I plugged it into my work laptop, and it was detected and worked on Teams calls. Sound quality is a little bass-forward but clear. Seems like a typical "gaming" sound profile, which isn't an issue for most people. Music, games, and calls have been clear to my ears. For the money, you can't go wrong with this new Cloud III model.

Switched from wireless to wired and these headphones are really great! I can wear them for hours b/c they are so comfortable. Love that I don't have to worry about charging b/c they are wired. Love that the mic can be detached for easy storing. Quality is amazing! Would definitely purchase again.

Sound quality is good. Durable and light easy to switch between connector peices.

I needed a headset that will work for PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 and this headset does all three. The headset feels like it’s made of pretty durable pleather, and has a good bit of non-powered noise cancellation with the cups on. For a mid to lower tier price point, this headset is worth its 100 dollar asking price, if you don’t mind having a cable from the cups to your controller, which I don’t.

Bought for my little brother and he says they are the best ones he has ever used. Very comfortable, clear sound, and top notch quality. He has a habit of breaking his headsets in little time but these are built to last!
