awful sound quality

The sound quality is awful, the cord crackles and doesn't stay connected tight no matter which xb1 controller I use. The ear pads are hard as rocks and overall just low grade. Bought them yesterday, returning them today.

Not worth it

Does not have the typical mic on/off and volume switch, instead it is built into the headphones. I have all mic settings cranked up and I can barely be heard. Headset itself is very sturdy. If the mic actually worked I would definitely recommend it. Spend the extra $50 and get a better set.

I wish it worked well but it broke when unplugging

Don’t use too much force... it’s not a bad headset for the price but if you pull too hard you might regret it. I wish I could have gotten another one since mind could have been faulty?

Worked great for 14 months

I suspect the problem is an internal breakage in the cable. In any case, not a good look for a product that costs $40 to $50.

It only lasted a year which was past the warranty so oh well we are out of luck. If you buy this add the extra Best Buy warranty because I can almost guarantee you it will break.

broke 2 controllers audio output

Got shocked in the ear by this then the audio stopped working from that controller on other headphones. Before I found that all headphones no longer worked on the controller I tested these headphones on another controller. This then ruined another controller's audio output. If I could give 0 stars I would. Best Buy did not stand behind the product either. Was told I had to go through the manufacturer instead of getting a replacement (which I do not want another one of these, in store credit would have been ideal. I was willing to spend more $ on a different set.) I will not buy this brand again and I will not be buying from Best Buy either. Terrible customer service.

You get what you pay for

The sound quality is harsh, and the mic quality is extremely poor. There are much better options out there for the price.
