Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Cloud Stinger Wired Gaming Headset's sound quality, comfort, and price. Many appreciate its compatibility across multiple platforms and find it lightweight and comfortable to wear. While some users mention the volume could be higher and the bass could be improved, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these minor drawbacks. Overall, the headset receives praise for its excellent audio and comfortable design.

Do they work? Yes. Great? Absolutely not. The sound quality is quiet, no bass, tin-y. It doesn't block out sound around you. I would not recommend it. Save your money, not worth $50. Save up for the HyperX Cloud II. Much better quality for 2x the price but worth it.

I purchased this to replace a Turtle Beach headset. We have an issue while playing FortNite, no one can hear him talk. We've tried asking Beast Buy tech support, no help. I've worked with MicroSoft online, unable to get it to work. Very dissapointed

My headset had broke and I needed a replacement. Its a cheap headset so don't expect anything too crazy. What you pay for is what you get. If you're used to Turtle beaches and Astro's, walk away from this. This is an entry level headset.

    Just what I wanted

After trying and having to return two different pairs of Turtle Beaches, I just wanted something with good sound, a good mic, a good price, and most of all a headset that is comfortable. These had great reviews, so I just decided to get them and it was a great decision. They work with both XB1 and PS4 which was another plus for me. I play a lot of FPS like Call of Duty and Battlefield and they work perfectly for that. Definitely recommend if you're on a budget.

You would think with such a big brand name in gaming like Hyper-X that their products would be a certain level of quality. I have had to RMA this headset 3 times because it stopped emitting sound. The last RMA they sent me the mic did not work out of the box and a few days later the headphones just stopped emitting sound altogether. I will never buy an Hyper-X product again. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of real high end headphones if you care that much about quality, or just go spend $20-30 on a no name brand of gaming headphones, you'll probably get better longevity out of them. The cheap-o ones i bought for my son has outlasted this headset by far.

I bought two of these from Bestbuy, but onlu opened one. Man, these are not comfortable at all. I bought some Amazon Vankyo 7.1 Gaming headsets, and they are more comfortable than this; those were cheaper compared to this full retail. Even though BestBuy did price match, I'll probably return these. Also, the sound isn't anything great. You'll probably get equal sound quality with some I-phone headphones. Wired is usually better than wireless, but the Steelseries Arctis 1 wireless headsets I bought sound better than these. I don't recommend this at full retail price. Oh yeah, they're plastic, and if you read reviews, you might steer clear of this.

It says for PS4 and other gaming consoles. NOPE! Has only 3.5mm jack and a 3.5mm jack splitter. Not even a usb adapter. Not even worth the purchase. Cant even get it working on my PC.

Hi, JimmyG! The Cloud Stinger does not come with a USB adapter as it is only via 3.5mm. For the PC, you will need to use the Y-splitter and pair it to either the front or back of the PC (depending on your PC case.) If you are looking for a USB option, you can look into our HyperX USB AMP and pair it with your Cloud Stinger. Don't hesitate to reach out to us first so we can help you with your potential purchase.
