Right speaker stopped working. I only used them at night to not wake everyone up so it was moderate use at best in a period of 20 months.

I wish I kept the box so that I could have returned these. The sound is not very good, they sound hollow and a bit muffled. The mic is horrible. No one can hear me that well, they say I am too low.

It is already broken after a few months. With kids, I think it is better to buy them the wireless because kids pulled, stepped on the cord and eventually it breaks !

These didn't work well at all and broke a month after we got them. They are in the trash! My son complained that his friends heard an echo when they played games with him and he said they didn't sound great...Then the metal piece came off the bottom just after I couldn't return them. Dont bother with these. Not worth the money!

This is my son's third set of these headphones. All three lost sound within 6 months after purchasing. I will definately not purchase this brand, again.

Mic stopped working after one month.

The mic stopped working after one month. I have a hyperX keyboard and after over a year it still works great. Which made me think they probably made good headsets as well. Guess not. Luckily the store manager was gracious enough to help me out. I replaced this with a different brand and got the warranty this time.

    Fuzzy sound quality and mic

I read the reviews on several gaming headsets and decided on this one because the reviews were good. However, the one I got had extremely poor sound quality and the mic sounded fuzzy -- like a buzzing noise. Honestly, I trashed it and got a different brand within the week I purchased this one. Sorry, but I can't recommend this product and definately will not purchase it again. I could have gotten a lemon but hey, you get what you pay for so I would spend the extra money for a better made model.

For the price I guess it is ok. Nothing to write home about. Would recommend saving up a little more money and going with a better headset.

    Didn’t Last Long

I bought this product on June 4, 2020 because I work from home. A couple of weeks ago, the sound started getting low. Today it stopped working. I thought maybe it was my computer that had the issue, but I tested my wife’s headset (different brand) on my computer and it worked and is much louder at a much lower setting than I had set for my headset. I’m disappointed because this product has thousands of good reviews, but I’m thankful that I didn’t spend a ton on them.

Voice quality is good, but pathetic built quality

Though these headsets have good voice quality, but the built quality is well poor. The headset wire broke off from near the 3.5 mm jack after one month of usage. Tried to get it touch with HyperX support, but they did not care. I was told this is not covered in warranty, although the warranty is valid for 2 years. Useless it is. Would not recommend buying headsets from Hyper X going forward. Even BesyBuy would not help you with this.

Really disappointed in this headset for the cost of the product. I purchased it in June and by the end of Aug it stated to echo or make me sound like I was talking in a tunnel. I use the headset for work, so you could image the frustration that I had to deal with. Plus, I can no longer return this product to Best Buy, so it was a total waste of money. I would think again before purchasing this brand.

Tried to make it work... (failed left speaker)

Purchased one and had issues with it 4 months later. Took it back to exchange since we purchased Best Buy’s protection plan and my son wanted to give the same one another shot. So we did and as I type this, 3 months later, we are in line at our local Best Buy returning it again. The speaker seems to always go out. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this particular headset. While atheistic are nice, they just dont last. Going with a Logitech branded gaming headset this time around!

Bought for my 9 yr old son to use in class. Broke within 3 months of very limited use. It will make the pulsating noise that disrupts the music. I found a fix by bringing down the mic arm and putting it right back up. This seems to fix the issue but nevertheless it’s shouldn’t be like this. You get what you pay for!

It didn’t work properly at first. Now I have to adjust to cord to be in the right position for it to work. Maybe it was a production error
