HyperX Cloud Stinger

The mic works well too, but sometimes picks up sound from the background, so having an environment where things aren't happening around you would be best for them.

So comfortable!

They're extremely comfortable and work really well. All she has to do is plug them in and that's it. She now prefers to use these for everything else (gaming, listening to music etc.), so it's great that they're so versatile.

Good for solo game play, not for communication

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am comparing this to my previous headset which was the Logitech G430 which is no longer manufactured and has since been updated to the G432. The audio for this headset is really crisp and gives a really decent spatial awareness when playing games but, the microphone is a major issue. When it works, it works great and clear but, when it malfunctions (not sure if its due to software or not) it makes you sound like an alien or very warbly. I've honestly had this issue happen more times than I'd like when playing games like Valorant (regularly happens) or on Discord (when I first got the headset). I have tried changing the audio settings on the computer and in game/application as well as unplugging/ replugging the jacks and sometimes it fixes it but, sometimes it doesn't which is frustrating. I will be returning this headset to upgrade to another model.
