    My own negative experience.

I like HyperX as a company. I have a keyboard of theirs and generally like their branding. The audio quality on this headset is very well balanced with clean mids and bass. I bought this to replace a lower quality headset that would become physically painful to wear after 15 minutes, and the comfort on this one is superb. I would love to give this headset 5 stars because by almost every metric, I consider it to be. However, I have major connection issues where the sound will totally cut out, which is extremely problematic even if it happens for a couple of seconds. Recently though the sound has been cutting out for 10+ seconds at a time, even going out for a minute at a time on the extreme end. This nullifies all of the good qualities for my headset, because it can't consistently deliver uninterrupted sound. In order to RMA this product with HyperX I need proof of purchase which I unfortunately don't have anymore and did not attach the purchase to this account (I purchased in the midst of dealing with stomach flu). So a year later, I am stuck with a headset that pretty much doesn't work. Judging from the other reviews it seems like my bad experience is not the norm. So if you're willing to take the chance that you won't have sound interruption issues, this headset is an excellent value.
