the program that helps control the mouse is horrible I had it reset in the middle of playing multiple times while playing which through the DPI off and messed everything up. also to keep your settings the program had to be open

A bit overpriced for what you get, it’s too basic of a mouse for the price so many other better options if this was like 10$ maybe it’s worth but not at its current price

    Excellent mouse

HyperX is known for built quality and they deliver it with their HyperX surge mouse. The 360 degree RGB also complements the overall look of the mouse in addition to its shape which may be suitable for small to the medium hand grip. The performance in every game tested was flawless due to its great optical sensor. However, this gaming mouse does come in around 100g which might be heavier than the competitor like the G Pro from Logitech, but the weight is subjective. So, overall amazing mouse for its price.

A really high quality mouse I like the shape it feels well balanced it has a good sensor good simple software good build quality I cant really find any cons on the mouse for me the original batch of the mouse had a defect where left and right mouse buttons could hit each other Hyperx/Kingston recalled the mouse and fixed that

    Great Gaming Mouse

Initially the mouse threw me off because the default dpi was 800, upon changing it to 1600 dpi it was much more responsive. The two side buttons are very responsive and perfect for adding hotkeys that are not otherwise easily reachable. The only issue with the mouse is the requirement to open the HyperX app every time I turn on my cpu so I can set it to my custom loadout instead of the default.

    Good shape

That mouse has a good shape and sensor. Sensor made every move smoothly and tracking surface well, so precise for aiming. Also has great omron switches which lasts up to 50 million clicks. I have only one concern, but it’s only my opinion. I’m not big fan of heavy mice, that mouse weight 130grams with cord and 100 without cord. I like when mice weights about 83-90. Recommend!

Great mouse, but software needs work

    Posted .

No complaints about the mouse itself, but the software is in a beta version and doesn't not work properly. Even though you have the option to keep the software running by minimizing to the taskbar, its stays on the taskbar when minimized. I tried downloading old version and they don't work with with this mouse. So basically I have no way to control the lights without taking up a huge about of taskbar space. If you google this mouse other people are complaining about the software. There are plenty of other gaming mice out there with software that works as it should for the same price.
