Hands down the best mic for the money. After some tweaking I was able to get the mic to not pick up background noise and only pick up my voice. That is huge because my computer is in the living room

People. Can never hear me for some reason even though ktbt he jnout volume all the way up. Pretty bad for $130

I wish it didn't catch so much background noise. It's very hard to adjust and had to get a third party app to remove

this was ok. the sound wasnt bad but i just didnt like it

Lots of connectivity issues, fluctuation in mic input - sometimes I'm screaming, other times it sounds like I'm speaking from miles away. The input volume settings in app automatically changes as well. This is my first mic purchase so I don't have a lot to compare with, but it definitely has given me a lot of problems since my purchase 3 months ago.

good mic needs to be mounted to be out of the way though

This mic has been my go-to for the past four years of work-from-home life. Countless Zoom calls, Teams meetings, and even the occasional late-night rant – the QuadCast S handled it all like a champ. What I liked: * Crystal-Clear Audio: Let's be real, that's what matters most. This mic delivered consistently clean sound, no muffled voices or weird background noise. My colleagues always heard me loud and clear. * Feature-Rich: The different polar patterns were handy, and I loved the tap-to-mute. * Slick Design: Okay, I'll admit it, the RGB lighting was kinda cool. Not essential, but it added some flair to my desk setup. The Downside: * Four Years and Out: Here's the kicker. After four years of faithful service, the thing just died. LEDs went dark, computer wouldn't recognize it. Poof. Had to grab a new one, which was a bit of a gut punch. * Warranty Woes: Look, I get it, a year warranty is pretty standard these days. So kudos to HyperX for offering two years. But still, it stings a bit when a premium mic gives up the ghost after just four years. Bottom Line: The QuadCast S was a solid workhorse while it lasted. Great sound, handy features, and a bit of visual pizzazz. But that limited lifespan is a definite drawback. If you're okay with potentially replacing it sooner than you'd like, it's a good option.

not sure what happened but after i purchased this my game sound dropped by like 60% and have not been able to get it back. Returned the Mic for a Logitech Pro X Wireless and the Game sound on those is at about 30% when in Game and settings is at 100%

Don't buy this garbage. Get a mic from a reputable company who makes mics. I only had a 2 week period to return this and Best Buy will not take it back. i was trying to get it to stop echoing while on calls with online programs. Now I have to figure out how to get sound gate software to work to stop the bleed through. The only time it doe snot echo to other users is when i have it on mute. This mic is garbage. Do not buy it if you are using speakers, it's junk. The software does nothing too, it's junk too

Plug and play is non existent need to use an external source for it to sound good and the Hyper X Ngenuity did not really help with anything other than volume
