As a small twitch affiliate streamer working my way up to partner, i really needed an upgrade from only using my xbox headset while live. This mic is perfect for streaming! You can literally hear everything, i like to play horror games so sometimes my voice is a little shaky and breathy from being so scared. I love that my viewers are able to hear me even if i’m being a bit quiet. In the past i’ve gotten complaints from my viewers that my audio was cracking or just completely cut out, but using the HyperX you get full spectrum on sound. This is perfect for all streamers big and small. Plus you get to choose your colors and i love being able to customize every inch of my setup to my liking. Definitely recommend!

The mic quality is awesome. The rgb on the mic itself is nice and bright. But not too bright whereas it’ll distract you because of good light diffusers. The mic is honestly an excellent choice for anyone who streams or for anyone who just wants a cool microphone. A thing I just want to mention the software for the mic itself tends to crash if you have software like Msi afterburner running on the background. So if you need to mess with the rgb feature make sure you turn off software like Msi afterburner off temporarily.

Love this mic. It's SO pretty and just super easy to use. I used to have a AT2020, the XLR mics are just too complicated for me. Sound quality is great. Of course, it's less adjustable because its more simplified, but it does what it needs to do. My first HyperX product didn't disappoint.

This is easily a 5 star mic. This microphone was purchased for casual gaming sessions (both video games and D&D through Discord) and it excels! As an added bonus the noise filtering is impeccable. Previously, push to talk was a necessity as I don’t wear headphones but this microphone does not pickup my game coming from my speakers at all. I tried so many things but always had to resort to either headphones or push to talk to not annoy others in discord with my game audio. The convenient hardware mute and sensitivity dial are huge improvements over previous mics. Read on to find out why it doesn’t get 5 stars though. However, objectively part of the price for this unit over the non-S is for the RGB lighting. A firmware update was required before it could be configured but it would NOT install on the target machine no matter what was tried. There are plenty of articles online detailing firmware issues. Google HyperX firmware and look at how often this seems to be an issue with their products. It seems furthermore their support is aware of issues with the applications (beta and non) but there’s just nothing that can be done. Fortunately, there was another Windows machine in the house and the update worked on that machine. So cross your fingers it works on your machine or give up being able to customize the microphone through the app. There are a lot of potential solutions online as well and while they did not work for me I’m sure they may work for others. Most of the microphone functionality will work without the firmware update in my experience.

This microwave is very easy to set up and use. It's great for streaming or discord calls, and I'm told my voice sounds very good with it. I'm confident in the quality as well, my last HyperX microphone survived water and insulation from hurricane Ida with no noticable drop in quality.

Perfect for streaming or gaming. It is great at picking up sound without picking up wind or air. I also love that it is colorful it adds to the ambiance! Your voice will be crisp.

This microphone is perfect if you’re getting into streaming, podcasting, or even simple uses like discord and zoom calls. I will say, I’m a sucker for RGB, so spending the extra money on this product over the previous model that is only red was worth it to me, if full RGB isn’t something you care about, the older model is definitely a solid option as well. I prefer the full RGB and the USB type C port to the solid red and micro USB connection.

Amazing microphone, i use it when gaming so i dont feel like everyone can hear me breathing like with a headset microphone, i always get compliments for people when i talk for how clear and nice this microphone is

Very simple but very good microphone. It has good audio quality and a nice design. The only thing it could improve in is if it had a better software.

Love this mic. Quality build and real quality sound, this mic comes with a fantastic base design that works to dampen/deaden sounds and vibrations from the desk it sits on (if not on a boom). I love the varied but simple controls built in - bottom twist knob to adjust the gain level, a knob on the back to select from four different condenser profiles, and (my favorite) a sensitive touchpad on top to activate/mute the mic activity that also shuts off the LED lights to indicate same. We have had a few Yeti Blue/Yeti Nanos in the house, and I was nervous about swapping when I know those mics were a standard to measure to at the price point, but Hyper X delivers with this model. Love, love, love the USB-C power connect (Quadcast S model only) over micro-USB, and really enjoy the RGB array options over the non -S model. I will admit I'm a dork for the RGB lights- I bought the non-S version first, literally tried it for 24 hours and talked myself into returning it for the -S model. The NGenuity software you need to download has a few features, iand makes the lighting pretty customizable. Spent exactly 15 more bucks, but those two details alone sold me, otherwise I think the two models are identical as it relates to the rest of the build and craftsmanship. The sound is crisp, warm and clear (I leave it in cardioid mode, best for streaming and general use), and from about 12 inch distance it is clear as a bell and the user sounds pretty much adjacent to you. Got it mostly for gaming, but also to hot-swap into my work laptop to manage umpteen zoom calls a day, and I've actually gotten a lot of compliments/comments on how clear I now sound. Great multi-tasker so far, would highly recommend.

Got this on sale for like $70-$80 and it’s a great microphone. Haven’t used the app for the mix but straight out of the box it works and the microphone sound is great.

I got it for the RGB, can’t deny I’m a RGB fanboy The quality of sound is great as well, easy to use.
