This mix is a huge upgrade from the integrated microphone in my external camera. This is podcast quality sound with the ability to switch pickup modes depending on if you’re alone or with others. Plus it just looks cool with the lights, which also serve a purpose to let you know when it’s on vs. muted.

Super easy to set up, software to customize lights is very simple and easy, simple to store, sound quality is great. I played my acoustic guitar over skype for a lesson when i was sick, my teacher was impressed with how well he could hear me and my guitar. No feedback issues, even when using my speakers instead of headphones. Great mic, fair price. I dig it.

First ever microphone I've bought for my first built PC, and it's amazing! The quality comes out crisp and can be easily configurable with their HyperX NGenuity app. My personal favorite about this mic is (obviously) the RGB lighting thats built in. You can easily change what color you want it to be and also add effects into it. Definitely adds to the vibe of your whole setup

Not using this for podcasts or anything, but it is a lot better than my old AudioPro condenser microphone since this one can pick up my voice a lot better (I'm not a loud talker). And according to my friends the audio is crisp and clear with almost no background noise (if that is an issue you can use third party software to filter that out). Just a quick note for other users: When set to cardioid make sure the HyperX logo is facing you since that is the side of the mic that will be active. -This also works with HyperX Ngenuity which makes it easy to sync colors with other HyperX devices

Hands down a lovely mic. The sound is really good, the colors are gorgeous, and I love the ability to tell when the mic is on or off just by the light. It's easy to turn my mic up or down and the sound is always good, even on discord calls.

The mic quality is awesome. The rgb on the mic itself is nice and bright. But not too bright whereas it’ll distract you because of good light diffusers. The mic is honestly an excellent choice for anyone who streams or for anyone who just wants a cool microphone. A thing I just want to mention the software for the mic itself tends to crash if you have software like Msi afterburner running on the background. So if you need to mess with the rgb feature make sure you turn off software like Msi afterburner off temporarily.

Great mic quality and easy to use. The microphone works best when close to you but you can keep it at a arms distance and it will still work fine just turn the bottom higher so it can catch your voice. Overall havent had any issues with it a pretty good purchase.

I bought this microphone for conference calls, because my laptop speaker was very poor. I have been very pleased with the purchase. It was very easy to set up, and it's easy to know if you are muted based on the lights (besides for the lights just being entertaining). I've been told that my voice comes across as crisp and clear.

Excellent quality, impeccable design. Will probably buy a 2nd for my wife's work as well as my personal rig.

I like the sound quality of the mic so much since I like to game alot I can use my mic to talk with friends on games, and they can hear me so much clearer. This has made my gaming experience so much better and funner ever since I bought it

This microphone is perfect if you’re getting into streaming, podcasting, or even simple uses like discord and zoom calls. I will say, I’m a sucker for RGB, so spending the extra money on this product over the previous model that is only red was worth it to me, if full RGB isn’t something you care about, the older model is definitely a solid option as well. I prefer the full RGB and the USB type C port to the solid red and micro USB connection.

[Employee of bestbuy] This microwave is very easy to set up and use. It's great for streaming or discord calls, and I'm told my voice sounds very good with it. I'm confident in the quality as well, my last HyperX microphone survived water and insulation from hurricane Ida with no noticable drop in quality.

Love this mic. It's SO pretty and just super easy to use. I used to have a AT2020, the XLR mics are just too complicated for me. Sound quality is great. Of course, it's less adjustable because its more simplified, but it does what it needs to do. My first HyperX product didn't disappoint.

Love this mic. Quality build and real quality sound, this mic comes with a fantastic base design that works to dampen/deaden sounds and vibrations from the desk it sits on (if not on a boom). I love the varied but simple controls built in - bottom twist knob to adjust the gain level, a knob on the back to select from four different condenser profiles, and (my favorite) a sensitive touchpad on top to activate/mute the mic activity that also shuts off the LED lights to indicate same. We have had a few Yeti Blue/Yeti Nanos in the house, and I was nervous about swapping when I know those mics were a standard to measure to at the price point, but Hyper X delivers with this model. Love, love, love the USB-C power connect (Quadcast S model only) over micro-USB, and really enjoy the RGB array options over the non -S model. I will admit I'm a dork for the RGB lights- I bought the non-S version first, literally tried it for 24 hours and talked myself into returning it for the -S model. The NGenuity software you need to download has a few features, iand makes the lighting pretty customizable. Spent exactly 15 more bucks, but those two details alone sold me, otherwise I think the two models are identical as it relates to the rest of the build and craftsmanship. The sound is crisp, warm and clear (I leave it in cardioid mode, best for streaming and general use), and from about 12 inch distance it is clear as a bell and the user sounds pretty much adjacent to you. Got it mostly for gaming, but also to hot-swap into my work laptop to manage umpteen zoom calls a day, and I've actually gotten a lot of compliments/comments on how clear I now sound. Great multi-tasker so far, would highly recommend.

This microphone is so sleek! The RGB lighting was definitely the hook, but I'm also happy to see that it's USB C to USB. Everything will eventually go to USB C. I replaced my Yeti Blue microphone with this one. I noticed right away this one was much lighter, but the sound quality is really similar.
