Pretty but short lived

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasted exactly 2 years and 1 month in time for warranty to expire (HyperX warranty is 2 years). It's a definite upgrade from headset mic, it's much more clear if you are upgrading from a headset mic but it does not pick up higher pitches and is inconsistent with picking up voice in general. I've had many a games where my friends have to ask me to repeat what I said or a sentence I said was completely cut off. The RGB is indeed pretty but it's not a mic with longevity or consistency.
