Good and smooth to talk and clearly sound and recommended

aesthetically it’s really cool but it really picks up everything. ive messed in the settings and i’ve got it to where i like it but i still feel like when i hear myself i can hear even the things out my window better then i could if i had the mic off.

Much worse than the blue yeti mic i had before this. the gain knob on the bottom doesn't even give an accurate reading as you can go well below or well above the dots and the software for it is very bland and basic only allowing you to control the lights. You can't fine tune the microphone to your liking. There are two separate gains, the one on the mic and the one on the software and they don't reflect one another so you can have a high gain on the mic and a low gain on the software. Overall would not recommend anyone purchases this microphone. There are much better mics out there for around the same price so I would not even recommend this for someone's first mic.

This mic works when it wants to but it has a big issue of disconnecting randomly when on discord or when streaming game to friends or even using your webcam. I looked online for work arounds and fixes but nothing came up. Really disappointing purchase.

This thing... I can't even put it politely, it was awful. The only thing it has going for it is its visual appearance. Visually, this mic is absolutely beautiful. Functionality wise, it was so bad. It would randomly connect and disconnect on an average of about 30 seconds between disconnects. The only reason it has one star is its visuals.

Mic is good starter mic. Quality is average and not very clean. Ended up returning it and going with a Shure mic.

For the price it’s a bit echoey..Also the gain of the mic isn’t that good. You need the mic right next to you even with the gain all the way turned up. Paid for the light show.

It’s a great mic and looks really good, issue is that it the gain is really high and if you live in an environment that has little backround noise the mic will pick it up. Friends will hear everything.

It started out with isssues where it would randomly repeatedly disconnect. it just stopped one day but then i Had the mic for a few months and its gone back to the same issue and its so bad. i cant even use it. it will not work. the mic didnt even last me 6 months. DO NOT BUY

Honestly, the mic has been a disappointment. When I first purchased it, it was working amazingly, but that was short lived. Then mic instantly began malfunctioning. This was 2 days after purchasing it. I contacted HyperX and they wanted to RMA it for a refurbished unit. AFTER TWO DAYS OF OWNING IT! I exchanged it for another mic and the same issue began after like a week. I will be returning it and purchasing another product instead.

I purchased a Blue Yeti but then learned about the HyperX mic and fell in love with the RGB. However, immediately I realized that the monitoring was too low and wanted to adjust it. To do this, you have to download their proprietary software which is available only in the Microsoft Store. On my windows machine store is blocked and there is zero support for Mac. This is beyond inconvenient and I will be returning. Cannot recommend this one over the Yeti

the mic works fine i just wish there was a software to prevent the outside noise

Hands down the best mic for the money. After some tweaking I was able to get the mic to not pick up background noise and only pick up my voice. That is huge because my computer is in the living room
