Bought this because I am currently attending classes through zoom on a daily basis and needed a better option than my current headset. I am thoroughly impressed with this microphone. The sound is crisp and clear and had not had a single issue with it. The LED lights look amazing and paired with my keyboard and mouse. The microphone is basically plug and play and the touch for mute and unmute is very convenient. Highly recommend this and worth every cent.

The HyperX QuadCast S has been a solid mic for streaming, calls, and recording. The audio is crisp and full without needing a ton of tweaking, and the RGB lighting gives it that nice studio feel without being too flashy. The tap-to-mute button is super convenient, and the built-in shock mount helps cut down on desk vibrations or bumps. Setup was basically plug-and-play—no hassle, no random issues. For the look, sound quality, and overall ease of use, it definitely feels like a premium mic.

Its dynamic RGB lighting adds a visually captivating element to my setup, with customizable effects that can be tailored via the HyperX NGENUITY software, allowing for a personalized aesthetic touch. Beyond its striking appearance, the QuadCast S delivers exceptional sound quality. The inclusion of four selectable polar patterns—stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional—offers remarkable versatility, accommodating various recording scenarios from solo podcasts to multi-person interviews. The microphone's tap-to-mute sensor is a particularly convenient feature, providing a quick and silent way to mute the mic, with an LED indicator that clearly displays the mic's status to prevent accidental recordings. Additionally, the built-in anti-vibration shock mount effectively isolates the mic, minimizing the pickup of unwanted noises from desk vibrations or accidental bumps. In summary, the HyperX QuadCast S combines stellar audio performance with user-friendly features and customizable aesthetics, making it an excellent choice for streamers, podcasters, and content creators seeking a high-quality, versatile microphone.

The HyperX QuadCast S is an absolute beast when it comes to both performance and aesthetics. Not only does it deliver crystal-clear, professional-grade audio, but it also looks incredible with its customizable RGB lighting. It’s the perfect mix of function and flair. Setup was a breeze—plug and play right out of the box. The built-in anti-vibration shock mount and pop filter are game changers, reducing background noise and keeping everything sounding smooth and clean. Whether I’m streaming, gaming, or recording voiceovers, this mic never disappoints. I also love the touch-sensitive mute button on top. It’s super convenient and gives a satisfying click-free way to mute instantly. The gain control knob on the bottom makes it easy to adjust levels without messing with software mid-session. If you're looking for a mic that delivers high-end audio, looks amazing on camera, and has all the quality-of-life features you didn’t know you needed—this is it. The HyperX QuadCast S is worth every penny.

The HyperX QuadCast S is an outstanding microphone, designed to meet the needs of streamers, podcasters, and gamers alike. Right off the bat, the HyperX QuadCast S impresses with its sleek, modern design. The RGB lighting feature adds a fun touch, allowing for customizable colors that can match any gaming setup. The microphone feels solid and durable, with a sturdy stand that keeps it stable on your desk. The built-in shock mount reduces vibrations and ensures clear, distortion-free audio, making it a reliable choice for long streaming sessions. Whether you’re recording vocals, streaming, or just chatting with friends, the microphone delivers crisp, clear audio with impressive detail. The built-in pop filter also helps reduce plosive sounds (like "P" and "B" noises), adding to the overall clarity of the recordings. Setting up the HyperX QuadCast S is incredibly easy. It’s a plug-and-play device, meaning no complicated software or drivers are required. Simply connect it via USB, and you’re ready to go. The touch-sensitive mute button is another great feature, making it simple to mute the mic with a quick tap. The LED indicator lights up red when muted, providing a clear visual cue so you don’t accidentally start speaking while muted. Overall, the HyperX QuadCast S delivers top-tier performance, an attractive design, and a user-friendly experience at a reasonable price. Its versatility, excellent sound quality, and durability make it an excellent choice for streamers, podcasters, and anyone looking for high-quality audio. The RGB lighting is a nice bonus, but it's the crystal-clear sound and ease of use that make it a standout.

This is my first USB mic and I've had it for over 2 years (since February 2021). I like the sound quality, my voice is very clear, however, it CAN be sensitive and pick up a bunch of background noises (even your keyboard or mouse). I had razer's green switches, which are really loud and clicky, and I eventually switched to red switches. The red almost never gets picked up. The "picking up background noise" shouldn't be too big of an issue if you're using Discord or OBS, because you can just adjust your settings. The QuadCast S uses the program "NGENUITY" and you are only able to control mic/monitoring/headphone volume and the lights. I only use the program is mess with how my RGB looks, but other than that, I almost never touch the volumes after setting it the first time. I wish HyperX had a program that can let us customize the sound quality further. The thing I love the most about this mic and what made me interested in getting this mic is the build. The RGB is suuuper pretty in person and make you enjoy your setup. The gain slider, polar pattern switch, and mute button is very convenient. For the price point, some may say it is expensive and you could find better alternatives for a better price with similar/same quality. For the sound quality and program, I personally agree and you could probably go for Logitech or any other company. But! This mic does go on sale every few months. If you are considering this mic for the aesthetic and want a good (maybe not the best) sound quality, then I would recommend it because that is the exact reason I got it and I am very pleased with the mic. I only rate it 4 stars because I wish HyperX made a better program for this mic. It's been 2 years and nothing new has been added to it other than bug fixes and minor updates.

I got this mic to replace a cheaper one i got from amazon for streaming on twitch. The audio quality is stellar, and i would even argue that its on par with the higher end stuff from rhode and sure, except its much cheaper AND its made by what is essentially a gaming company. With just a noise gate and a noise supression filter through OBS it already sounds like a professional grade mic. The physical aspects of it leave a few things to be desired as it is quite large. There is a more important problem though, the USB C port is on the back which creates the need for a steep bend in the cable right at the connector. So far i havent had any problems and the cable it comes with is pretty sturdy so its not a deal breaker, but i feel like it could have definitely been designed better. Overall the lighting, sound quality and construction make this a very solid choice.

The HyperX QuadCast is easily one of the best USB microphones out there. The sound quality is crystal clear—perfect for streaming, podcasting, voiceovers, or gaming. People on the other end instantly noticed the upgrade in my audio. The built-in shock mount and pop filter are a huge bonus, cutting down on background noise and vibrations without needing extra gear. I also love the tap-to-mute feature with the red LED indicator—super intuitive and great for live sessions. It offers four pickup patterns (cardioid, bidirectional, omnidirectional, and stereo), so it’s flexible for solo use, interviews, or group setups. Plus, the design looks great on any desk setup. Whether you're a content creator or just want to sound better on calls, the QuadCast delivers serious performance in a plug-and-play package.

The RGB lights are beautiful and work fantastic. This mic is sleek and fancy and really makes your gaming setup seem that much more impressive. The stand works fantastic and the whole stand and microphone is made out of very good quality material. 5 stars for gaming because this microphone really is suited for that gamer setup look. 4.5 stars for sound quality because there is a bit of a room echo if you lean back farther than like 70cm. That issue is solvable with wall padding, or also buying a microphone arm to move the microphone closer to you as you sit. 4 .5 stars for value of money because it really does work like any other professional mic out there for $150-$200, but for me it was so worth the extra money because of how amazing the microphone looked.

This mic has been a great one so far. I like the dial to select how you want to set up whether it be sitting in front by yourself or having people in the front and the back of the mic. There is also other settings. The light settings are cool and can be disabled. The easy tap to mute feature is nice. I don't have a negative thing to say about it. It can be attached with the included base or on a boom. My 12 year old uses it when he streams his video games too, so it is very easy to use and set up.

The HyperX QuadCast S is one of those microphones that makes getting into video creation a lot more fun and a lot less intimidating. I’m still pretty new to making videos, and what I appreciate most is how easy this mic is to set up and use. It’s truly plug-and-play—no complicated menus, no extra hardware needed. You plug it into your computer, select it as your input, and you’re basically ready to start recording. For beginners, that smooth setup is a huge relief. The sound quality is excellent right out of the box. Voices come through clear, warm, and crisp without needing a ton of post-processing or tweaking. You also get multiple pickup patterns—cardioid, omnidirectional, bidirectional, and stereo—which makes the mic flexible for different recording situations. I mostly stick to cardioid for speaking on camera, but it’s nice knowing the other modes are there if I ever branch out into interviews, dual recordings, or ambient audio. One of my favorite features is the RGB lighting. It’s customizable, bright, and genuinely adds personality to my desk setup. Being able to change the colors to match my workspace or mood makes the mic feel more “mine,” and it brings a little extra flair to the whole process. It doesn’t affect performance, of course, but it definitely makes creating content more fun. The tap-to-mute sensor and the built-in shock mount are also great touches—they make everything feel polished and beginner-friendly. No loud clunks, no fumbling with buttons, and no ugly mic stand vibrations showing up in the audio. Overall, the HyperX QuadCast S is an awesome choice for anyone just getting into videos, streaming, or voice recording. It’s stylish, easy to use, and delivers great audio without making you learn a whole sound engineering course to use it right. It’s been a joy to work with.

Very satisfied with the quality. Sturdy, everyone has commented on the clarity of this mic. RGB is a bonus. This pretty much checked off all the boxes for me and is easy to setup but you can still dive in deeper with software to tweak the input. It's been 2 months of usage and is now my preferred mic/setup.
