This is the best mic I’ve used so far! For the money you cannot beat the quality. I had the yeticaster before the Hyper X and I wouldn’t go back.

Excellent mic but you only need cardiod actually. Other features might still come in handy if you are gonna be hosting a podcast. Buy it on sale.

Sounds great and easy to use. Came on time. Has a small quality desk stand and has a mic stand apter too. Pictures shows using the adapter (Retractable desk mic standbnot include).

When I started streaming I knew I wanted to get a microphone that was going to give me better vocal quality than what your average headset mic could accomplish, but it took me a long time to settle on which one to buy. I spent a few hours scouring youtube for reviews with my headset on so I could listen to sound quality differences closely, and I believe it was the Hardware Canucks who finally got me convinced to give this one a go. At $139.99 (the current price at the time of this review) the HyperX Quadcast is definitely a little more pricey than some of its competitors, but not over-priced compared to some of the big names out there, like Blue Yeti. Aesthetically it lives up to that price point, with the shock mount and red-glow behind the built in pop filter. Feature-wise as well this lives up to the price point. The four selectable audio modes each work well for their purposes. The touch-sensitive mute button on top is responsive and unobtrusive, located so it won't be hit accidentally. And the gain adjustment knob on the bottom is very smooth and quality feeling. It's not perfect, though. The shock mount that comes built on doesn't do avery good job. Because it sits on a desk top by default anything that taps against the desk with it tends to be picked up by the mic pretty easily. Fortunately it comes with an adapter that will allow me to mount this onto a microphone boom arm, so hopefully that won't be as much of an issue. I also wish that, in this 2020 era of almost every lit up PC component and accessory having a RGB option, this microphone did too. The solid red backlight doesn't exactly fit my computer's aesthetic, but that's a tiny gripe at the very worst and almost not even worth mentioning. All in all I am pretty darn happy with my purchase, and I would be happy to recommend this to anyone who wants a nice quality microphone.

Can be your first and last mic purchase if you're looking for something other than a gaming headset. Sounds good out of the box and setup is as easy as plugging in the USB. It may seem pricey compared to other entry mics but when you combine the additional cost of a pop filter + shock mount which are built-in to this one its similarly priced. Only negative is that its bright red and the led is on when the mic is unmuted instead of turning on while muted.

I used to have the Audio-Technica ATR2500 which was good, but this microphone is way better. The quality is unmatched, I record YouTube videos and this is so easy to use. Love the long USB cable, love that you can touch the top of the mix to mute/unmute, LOVE that it lights up red all the way around. It's just great, good price too for the quality, you will not be disappointed.

best mic you can buy for under 200 bucks, the audio quality is superb, the features and adjustability are as far as you can go without software and the ease of use, and mount that comes in the box means you don't need anything else to make this make great. First, the quality is awesome, better than the blue yeti and any other mic in this class, just watch the reviews, the audio is crispy and has good quality overall. On the subject of quality and the audio part, it has a built in pop filter inside the mic that looks great and works well (but it doesn't filter everything, if you need a good pop filter this probably isn't enough) but its great for everyday use to have. The built in gain and audio mode is great, changing the gain can really help, if you have allot of background noise you can turn it down, and if you far away from the mic you can turn it up, and many recording modes for interviews, normal gaming/streaming, and more. The mic has a built in mute button on top, and conveniently the red lights turn off when you mute, which is awesome and a really easy way to know if your muted, if your like me and you sometimes forget your muted, The mute is also capacitive, so all you have to do is tap, you don't have to push like your phones buttons, so its very easy and not a hassle and it wont move your mic around. On the subject of moving the mic around, the built in mount is shock proof and very heavy and high quality and adjustable, and whenever you want to mount it on a tripod/boom arm, it comes with a adaptor that you can mount onto 3/8 and 5/8 in mounts, it's so easy to transfer with a thumb screw and a nut and is very easy to do again. In all, this is an all in one mic that literally has everything you could ever want in a mic with convenient accessories and features that no other manufactures care to implement!

This mic offers excellent quality especially in a USB mic. I did not want to invest in a mixer and XLR mic so I chose to buy the QuadCast. Setup was a breeze! The cable is plenty long enough to run to your PC and still have it setup on the opposite side of your desk. The sound quality is superb and offers different mic directions making it great for podcasts as well! It comes with a stand that works very well but can easily be added to a boom. My only negative about this mic is the ability to not be able to turn off the red light so in darker screens or games you will get a red glow on your screen depending on where you have the mic placed.
