    Was expecting it to be bad since it was cheap but the mic is actually super good. Cancels out noise and only works in one direction, fantastic when i walk away and forget to mute ngl. My dog can be barking next to me and still it only picks up my voice.

    I really enjoy using this mic, the quick tap to mute is my favorite feature. I mounted it to a swivel desk mount and its seamless.

    I purchased the HyperX - SoloCast 2 Wired Cardioid USB-C Microphone to use for a voice recognition project on a rasberry pi. It works well for the project except it is very directional. It would probably work well for gaming, but I didn’t test that functionality. It has a nice mute feature and a led to indicate it’s working.
