The memory foam is nice and cool to the touch. But if you travel and need to bring this with you, the backing material snapped on me and now there is a slight arc to it, and it's extremely floppy. If it happens to get stuck in my backpack the wrong way I'm worried about it breaking. I would only consider this if you don't intend on moving it.
