I was very disappointed by this movie. When it first came out I rushed to the store to buy a copy of it ( which I never do unless I have already seen the movie ). I was so excited to sit down and watch it with my husband, but when we had gotten about 1/4 of the way through it we realized it was nothing more then another zombie movie. I am just sick of watching scary movies that are about zombies, can we please be more creative? Blu-ray did make the affects great, but I still would not have purchased this movie if I would watched it first.

First, this 2 disc set should be just one disc. Disc 1 has the Theatrical Version of the movie plus 4 "animated comics" thats all. Disc 2 has the "extended" (4 whole minutes) with the new controversial original ending. AND THATS IT. There are about 20-40 minutes worth of small featurettes BUT YOU CAN ONLY VIEW THEM ON A PC!!!!!!!!!!! You CANNOT view them on your dvd player. Seriously? Is this a sick joke? I bet everything I own on a double dip in the near future. Overall I wish I never bought the movie and had just waited.

it is a pretty good movie by will smith...it has its happy and scary parts. the alternate ending is different...but the endings were still bad. the "legend" is debatable.

Saw this one coming a mile away. My wife was so intent on seeing this movie though and thought it worthy of Blu-Ray status, but 20-30 minutes into the movie she admitted the movie was a drag and turned it off. A movie about possibly the last man on earth...come on, you knew it was going to be dry. Will gave a believeable performance and all, but the movie simply flat-lined b/c not a lot was going on with this one man other than him going crazy. Put this one in the reject pile.

I think this is an ok movie, not one of the greats but not bad, it has some pretty good action in it

Not the best action movie there is, not the worst either. Story makes you go hmm at times, ending is easily predicted.

This is not your typical Will Smith role. This is a disturbing movie about a doctor who finds a cure for cancer that ends up wiping out almost the entire world population. The disturbing part is the mutant humans that weren't killed by the virus. If you like scary movies, this one is for you. Otherwise, don't even rent it, just move along.

For as popular as it is it is highly overrated. Has good idea for story but the whole movie seems to be missing something. For a movie deemed action/advanture it is lacking both. Ending is somewhat disappointing director should have spent more time in this area. For a big blockbuster movie I was very disappointed not worth watching.

I JUST BOUGHT THIS MOVIE HAVE NOT WATCHED IT YET BUT YOU CAN NOT WATCH DISC 2 WITH ALT ENDING ON IT ON YOUR TV IT HAS TO BE LOADED ONTO YOUR COMPUTER TO VIEW. I WAS LOOKING FOWARD TO SEEING ALT ENDING ON BIG SCREEN SO NOW I HAVE TO WATCH ON SMALL COMPUTER SCREEN. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I GAVE 2 STARS.

This movie was more like a church ad for me. The alternate ending is better than the original in my opinion, the plot was linear and weak but the concept was good. Could have been done better. alot better. Will Smith can get tickets sold to any movie he is in, he still added appeal to the movie.

This movie has a great start but, after that, it is just a rush to the end

this was the worst movie i have ever seen in my life it was a complete was of money and a waste of my time. only good thing was will smith acted great. but overall dont waste your money on this movie!!!!!!
