I've heard the song and was interested to see the movie. It's an okay movie. The acting isn't always the best.

We went to watch this in the theater to support what we considered to be an inspiring Christian show that we heard was good, that is difficult these days when Hollywood and most media outlets produce movies as if all movie goers are satanist, atheist, or perverts. What I did not expect was it to be so much more entertaining then expected, and based on a true story with a few changes, most likely to keep it within a reasonable movie length, it would be nice to see a directors cut that would be were the lead singer of "Mercy Me" was allowed to fill in some blanks. Nonetheless the movie was very much worth the watch and I so plan to add it to our library at home. I would hope that success of this show would influence other movie makers to focus on positive inspiring shows that are void of trying to push racial division, sexual perversion, gender division, gender confusion, and senseless violence.

I've been aware of the christian rock song 'I Can Only Imagine', for some time, and have owned a copy of the album it's on for several years. I have other Mercy Me albums on CD. I wasn't aware of the back story behind it. This movie fills in all the holes and is very well done. Dennis Quaid gives one of the best performances of his career, as does newcomer J. Michael Finley! All of the cast members including Trace Adkins and Cloris Leachman turn in wonderful performances. Religious or not this film deserves to be seen!

Movie is based on true story of the singer from the Christian group Mercy Me. Deals with home environment and the formation of the band. Solid movie, but one that will make you cry.

This was a great christin movie and this wouls make you cry and teach you a lesson and a well mad movie.

I enjoyed this film. I didn't know Bart Millard's story before I saw this movie. It was nice to learn the story behind MercyMe's popular song.
