this movie is not the typical frankenstein movie. It does however give a new spin on a horror classic. I was pleasantly surprised by this film. I really enjoyed it.. it's definitely worth watching especially in 3d

interesting take on an old story; good actor choices

I caught this on TV after buying this & thankfully not opening. It was an entertaining movie but I personally felt it was not worth a buy. Maybe because of the 3D option it would be more enjoyable but it did not move me in 2D! I returned it...

This is the best frankenstein movie since Boris Karloff played the original . It has a well done story line looks great on blu-ray and now has become my favorite Frankenstein movie of all time . It's a must see movie.

For what it is worth, this movie is a great action movie. The acting isn't bad or over the top in most areas and it is overall a fun movie for what it is. I will not spoil it for you but the ending will surprise you.

I was looking forward to seeing this b/c I'm a huge Underworld fan. And to be honest it's not nearly as good. However. Best Buy has brought the price of this to as low as $9.99, For that price if you're looking for a 1 1/2 hour action fest. Pick this up.

On its own merits, it provides an entertaining watch with decent special effects and action. Aaron Eckhart delivers a wonderful performance as the first artificially created humanoid. He gives his character depth.

Kind of brings you back to the old time monster movies. Not too complicated of a plot line but there wasn't much back in the originals. Cool special 3d effects with the Gargoyle creatures. Fun modern extension of the Frankenstein monster.

I like how the "monster" wasn't named Frankenstein as in some of the books and other movies out there. That was the doctor's (his father's / creator's) name, not his. Good movie with a good special effects.

This movie surprised me, since I hadn't heard about it when it was in the theaters. After watching it, I have to say I thought it was pretty good. It was very Underworld-esq, but I took that as a plus.

The movie was really good. It had the perfect amount of suspense and drama. Kept me on my toes the whole tine. Definitely recommend this movie. And it doesn't hurt that I got it at a good price.

i enjoy the film because of aaron eckhart. he has gone from two-face to frankenstein's monster and the people that have done the underworld films made a good film despite the flaws in the movie.
